Turtle Jack's Muskoka Grill

The food portions are very generous! The pricing was fair. Everything tasted amazing! I was incredibly happy with my visit and will definitely be returning! Our server was Bobby, and he was fabulous! Took great care of us. At his suggestion I had the spicy margarita and I am hooked!! 10/10 visit. New favourite chain restaurant! Parking: Lots of parking - shared with the Keg Dietary restrictions: Offered substitution options. Gas vegetarian options on menu.

Went in around 3:30 on a Tuesday. Wasn't to busy, got the booth seats which were bit tight but that's fine. Server took our order and ID/Vaccine info. Ordered our food which came fast roughly 17 min. I got the full rack of ribs w/ fries coslaw. It was tasty. However the server never checked in on my table, so me and a friend weren't able to get a refill on our drinks. I might give this location another try in the future. The food was good but service could have been better.

My boyfriend and I went to turtle Jack's on Saturday Oct 10th , Linda the manager was very kind to offer us to come back,. We had originally gone for lunch one week earlier , unfortunately that day the service was slow and the French onion soup was disappointing. I'm happy to say that on Saturday we were not at all disappointed. The service was impeccable the food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly and inviting. The blackened chicken salad with the balsamic dressing was perfect, my boyfriend had the turkey goat cheese on Naan and he thought it was absolutely delicious, but I have to say the sponge toffee with caramel and ice cream that we ordered for dessert was one of the best I have ever tasted. I would definitely recommend turtle Jack's for lunch or dinner , there is quite a bit of items on the menu to choose from . I have a upcoming business meeting and I have suggested that we go to turtle Jack's for our lunch / meeting. I have added some photos of the lunch we had and as I previously indicated the food was top notch..

Here is the steak, with crispy fried onions, with veggies, & the other plate is a meatloaf with veggies as well! Other then food the service was Great, good food, The server was absolutely amazing and kept checking in so many times and gave exceptional customer service, I have never been treated so kindly and felt at home!

Located right beside The Keg, this well decorated, well staffed restaurant serves a pretty descent and diverse menu of entres mains and desserts. Good food, good wine, friendly service, not expensive... Update 2022 This location experiencing change of ownership which is affecting the items listed on menu especially liquor and beer . Service or quality of food hasn't suffered at all.

Theoretically, this was a 5/5 stars visit. Granted, some fault lies with our party as customers, but we arrived at the restaurant with a request for 17 of us to get tables. We tried calling in advance same day which is not enough in advance but we tried because we know 17 is a lot!, was told they cannot take same day reservations, and was told after that to just walk in....which we did. When we walked in, we explained it like the following, "Hello, we are here in town for a wedding which is why we are 17 people looking to eat here. We called in advance earlier today but we were told to walk in instead. Since we know it is impossible to seat all 17 of us together, we are fine with sitting in 5 tables of 4." We were told immediately by the hostess that it would be an hour wait. Typically, this would make sense if we didn't visually see at least 10 tables of 4 that were empty, and without "Reserved" signs on them. We clarified our request again, this time, putting more emphasis on how we would be willing to sit on opposite sides of the restaurant if all the tables had to be separate, and the hostess said it a voice with an edge, "It'll still be an hour; you should have called ahead." This rubbed someone in our party the wrong way, so that person demanded to speak with a manager. As soon as the manager arrived, that person summarized the situation, and the manager in question walked away with their hands in the air stating, "I can't do this." At this point, the person from our party demanded that person's manager because that wasn't a professional way to handle any customer inquiries so finally, the location manager was brought in, and lo and behold, magically, 5 tables of 4 suddenly opened up lol. When we left, we found out the first manager had a death in the family earlier this week, so our sympathies are with them and their family. However, it should be noted that it is quite unprofessional that the resr waiting team spent the rest of the night blatantly gossiping about the person from our party during the time we dined there. Prior to us leaving after we ate, we asked the manager whether or not them seating us caused them to turn away any tables, or if we took any tables that were reserved. He confirmed with us that seating us indeed did not interfere with their ability to serve others as intended. Aka, no we did not take other people's tables, nor did we take any tables away from other patrons of this restaurant. Despire the above, the waiter for our table specifically was really cool, and served us well. Made good recommendations when it came to wings, and beer! My serving of chicken fingers was extremely generous, and saucy, just the way I like it. I do think it is important for management to evaulate the way their team speaks with and about customers as there is always room to grow. Truly hoping this was just an off night as my food, and drink was enjoyed! -[CLASSIC BUFFALO FINGERS] $19.95 Tossed in your choice of wing sauces - I went with medium Also served with fries, and coleslaw The number of chicken fingers served was at least 7 in my order haha, suuuuper generous -[RASPBERRT MOJITO] $10.95 Smirnoff Raspberry vodka, sweet & sour, raspberries, mint, soda water This drink goes down so easily that I could have downed a whole pitcher on my own haha

My husband isn't able to get out so we ordered in for Valentine's. The food was absolutely amazing. Best burger he has ever had, gravy also excellent. Thank you for making our night! Will definitely order again.

So Disappointed with my take meal this evening .. frist off I ordered a California NY steak... cooked MED... I got a top sirloin.. cooked WELL DONE ... NO GRAVY which I ordered... for my mash so that sucks. Secondly I had ordered a French onion soup... but this had no cheese or bread ? Just broth ? Ummm ok.. needless to say I spent about 65 bucks on this meal because I was craving it... and I feel like.i got completely duped. So over cooked I couldn't even eat it... rock hard.. very not happy about this...

20221119 Hello Matthew in regards to your question "...how we can make your next visit a complete 5 star."; as stated in review, reduced time between order and to plate on table. Greater attention of prepared food "under a heat source?' while waiting for the total 'orders' to be completed. No worries, our experience was not 'negative enough' to deter a return visit. I am sure, I would post here again regarding a future visit. 20221117 Made accommodations for the six of us on short notice: 5/5. A little loud but a pleasant environment and the staff was excellent the hostess and the server: 5/5. Food came to table an hour plus after ordering: 2/5. The mashed potatoes and the gravy were cold, to the point that the gravy was thickening. 1/5. The temperature of the foodmeat and burger was, at best warm; taste and presentation we're done well: 3/5. The 'onion rings' were cold and soggy 1/5. The french fries were hot and delicious and properly seasoned 5/5. Prices are slightly on the higher end $40 $50 range each plate plus drinks and appetizers. Overall it was a pleasant experience, it was like eating a big dinner with family, some of it's warm some of it's cold, some of it's hot, the company the atmosphere and the serverSara is what made this a special place.

Went to Turtle Jack’s tonight with my family of 4, and can honestly say that I havent had such a great time out at a restaurant in a really long time! Service was fantastic- our server Charlie, brought refills of drinks pop before we even had to ask for refills! Atmosphere was cozy, music wasnt too loud. Food was fantastic! I had the French Onion burger and it was delicious. My mom had a chicken pasta dish and my husband and daughter had wings. Daughter is picky and she almost cleared the plate clean. Mom talked about her meal the entire ride home. 10/10. Would definitely recommend this location.
