It's a very nice shop. They got a great selection of products. The best part is that they have a great Caffe for very nice dates.nI would recommend having British music playing instead of the Canadian FM station.nAlso, the prices are above average but their products are unique:.nI got some pastries/doughs and I wanted them to be warmed up and they didn't have an oven :/ so we had to eat them as they are and that's where the 1 star got lost away.
The British Shop was a nice reminder of home. I was able to buy some things I haven't had in a long time. The staff were friendly and very helpful.nnThe Tea Room was very cute, it was hidden away in the back. I had a lovely cup of Earl Grey tea with a scone, which is one of my favorite little treats from England. I would recommend giving this place a try, in sure you won't regret it.
It’s hit and miss on the staff being friendly. Their pastries are good. The prices in the store are too high in my opinion.nOverall it’s an ok store to pop in for pastries and such, just wish the staff were more consistent with their customer service.
First time at this little gem in Alliston!nWonderful British shop in the front and cosy quaint tea house lunch spot in the rear.nMy wife had the quiche and my son and I had the ploughman’s lunch.nBoth fresh and delicious.nLoose leaf tea steeped in a pot too, which does make a big taste difference.nNot inexpensive, but a great example of ‘you get what you pay for’.nService was excellent as well.nWe’ll be back for sure!
Delicious high tea. Very fun experience at this cute little tea room. The tea is also delicious. I would highly recommend. Great option for something more unique.
