Story

the bridge is a multi-ethnic and multi-generational church impacting our world in Christ. We’re all in this together as God creates a beautiful future through broken, imperfect people like us. No matter where we have been or where we are in our spiritual journey, God desires to have a personal relationship with us all through His son Jesus. As we source ourselves in Christ, it is His love that compels us to connect with God, each other and our world.

A friend invited me to this church 7 years ago, and I’ve since come to call it home. I met some of my closest friends and mentors at The Bridge. Can’t say enough about their young adult community that walks with you through the ups and downs! Love the way The Bridge embodies the hands and feet of Christ! We’re also online during Covid
I was attending this church back in 2007. It was the first bible believing/teaching church I attended. I remember feeling a rush of excitement when the worship band started playing, I learned quite a bit about the bible here and have no regrets being a part of this church. My life took me elsewhere, but the people were genuine, caring, and wise and I am very thankful that God had me here.
I absolutely love this church. I was invited by a friend and have been going ever since. The people are nice and friendly. You are first greeted by the host team who always have a warm smile and handshake. Don't worry you dont have to shake anyone's hand. The smiles you won't forget. The worship experience hits you right in the heart. The messages are relevant and show how you can walk out your relationship with Christ. There are programs for all ages. Once you drop off your child in a program you pick them up when service is done. There are midweek programs like they have volleyball on Tuesdays and basketball as well as youth programs.
Been a member here for many years. It's an awesome place. Awesome pastors who make the time to get to know you and remember you. Very approachable and empathetic. For a large church, they act like a small time church and treat you very well. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
A modern community based multi-cultural church - filled with hundreds of contemporary worshipers who are longing to worship our Lord Jesus Christ… I went to the 9:20am worship service on Sunday. The church was just recently renovated with plenty of new spaces for Kidzone and other ministries. There was a common sitting area between the Kidzone area and the sanctuary serving refreshments. People could prepare their heart, quieted down perhaps after dropping off the kids before the service started. Usually for a big church like the Bridge, I could quietly sneak in and out without being noticed. However, it was not the case with my experience. I was warmly welcomed by their greeting team. I think I was greeted with “Hello”, “Welcome to the Bridge” by at least five people before I walked into the sanctuary to worship. The people who went to this church were friendly and with much energy. The contemporary congregational worship was always a great experience to connect my inner heart with God – from the outside in looking around the people, then to the inside out to God. As I sang, I engaged deeply with the lyrics. Pastor Brian was an engaging preacher with powerful presentation style and great clarity in what he wanted to preach and encourage. The church also had many caring groups for students, young adults and families. I am sure you can find one that can help you grow socially and spiritually.
I had gone to this Church a few times before I moved away and LOVED it. It was beautiful and welcoming. I did not feel judged. This is a very "come as you are" Church where anyone can come in if they have a heart for God.
Lots of positive energy in this church. The people are friendly and welcoming. The pastor preaches well and provides great stories that are relevant to our current time.
Being from "the Bible Belt" in North Carolina ... I was not sure what I'd see in Canada we see on our news how preachers are jailed up here for reading scripture publicly et al. I got lost en route so was a few minutes late getting in ... the drums and guitar I heard as I walked sounded great I am a believer who likes to hear the word not watered down, but I also like the music to pop. So after hearing some great music, I listened to the sermon. It was biblical and challenging w/out beating anyone about the head some bible belt churches are famous for that ... sometimes needed ... but not every Sunday. I don't know how many Sundays I'll find myself in the Toronto Markham area ... but if/when I do, I will visit "The Bridge" again and cooler yet, I was able to do so on Saturday night.
I love this church. Can't wait for the new building to be ready
