Story

Harvest Bible Chapel exists to Glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39)." The commission is fulfilled as disciples of Jesus Christ are made and grown in their relationship with Him. God is glorified as we manifest His presence as we do His work (2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Corinthians 10:31). Our obedience to the Lord's command is revealed in our lives as we worship Christ, walk with Him, and work for Him.

We believe the disciples of Jesus Christ should minister to one another in the local church. It's not about one or a small number of pastors bearing total responsibility to care for the entire congregation. It's about all disciples using their God-given spiritual gifts to provide mutual ministry in the context of the vibrant and strong local church. Ephesians 4:11-12

A couple recommend this chapel to me a few years ago and I have been meaning to come. My first visit was very enjoyable. They are very welcoming and it was a good service. It is advanced. The parking is free and the location is suitable.

Attended for the first time on a cold frigid January Sunday in 2009. The church has grown much in the past 8 years but I feel just as warm and welcomed as I did on that first Sunday. Now, I have the privilege of working on staff at this church while calling it my own home church. Thankful that HBCYR is committed to the same distinctive today as there were day one: unapologetic preaching, unashamed worship, unceasing prayer, and an I afraid witness!

Harvest Bible Chapel York Region is a Bible-believing evangelical church with services on Saturday nights at 5:30pm and Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am. Expect bold preaching, lively worship, and a focus on small group discipleship. Proclaiming the authority of God's word without apology. Lifting high the name of Jesus in worship. Believing firmly in the power of prayer. Sharing the good news about Jesus with boldness.

Excellent Awana program for kids between 3 years old and grade 5. The Harvest Kids Check In process is convenient, efficient and enable a safe drop off / pick up environment for the young ones. The volunteers are all friendly and helpful. I trust them with nurturing the spiritual needs of my own child and I have recommended others who have also joined.
