The Boot Shop Pen Centre

The staff here are great, they know what they are doing and can help you find what you need like no other. The problem is management. And it isn't small. They seem fine, but they are entitled, and do not treat their employees with respect. I was finding shoes on my own; an employee asked if I needed help, but I told them I was just fine and so they returned to their own duties. Then a manager came over and would not stop harassing me about what I was looking for. I do not need you pushing sales down my throat; I know what I need, the employees know that I know what I need. Heavens knows they probably berate their employees for not doing the same thing, but them being this overbearing is too much. It does not speak well of the work atmosphere. It also doesn't help that while I needed no help, there were other customers of ethnic origins that the managers COMPLETELY ignored. Addendum to the reply; It seems strange that you would accuse me of having personal connections for having to have an issue with shopping here. If workers are leaving often enough for it to coincide with me writing this review, then perhaps my impressions of the work environment were more correct than I had originally thought.

My trans daughter recently came home sad, frustrated and empty-handed after a day of searching for shoes in a women's size 12W. Store hours were almost over when we arrived at The Boot Shop in the Pen Centre. The compassion, patience, product knowledge and team work of the three staffers on shift that night combined to turn what had been a demoralizing day for my daughter - who already has enough to contend with - into a fantastic experience of being heard, accepted and accommodated. She left with a gorgeous pair of shoes. The times, they are a changing. Thank goodness The Boot Shop is still there, keeping pace.

Friendly helpful staff big selection of men's and women's shoes, boots etc. This tried and trusted Niagara establishment.

Went to the Boot Shop today utterly ignorant about shoe shopping, haha. Thanks to the wonderful staff I was able to find the perfect pair of shoes, and even realized I'd been wearing a size too big for most of my life. Great service, great selection. Thanks so much, Dakota!

I have had nothing but success shopping at this store!! I travel quite a distance to this store as the customer service is amazing. The warm welcome and the professionalism is unparalleled……they treat me as if I was part of their family!! My hat is off to the boot shop for enduring the difficult and every changing guidelines but still providing the customer care and genuine concern for each and every customer.

My wife and I were shopping for shoes for our 2 year old, and we're ignored for 20 minutes by 3 employees. This place is horrible.

This store first time stepped in,gave me the worst experience...trying to look around for shoes one of the employees, one with long long hair came snd asked me to leave, because of no mask on..I explained politely I was excempt and was very surprised until that moment visiting almost all of them nobody even looking at me,never mind asking about masking, recognizing the exceptions. This one was joined by another oldie employee there

waste of trip drove 50 mins for bad service ,asked about work boots told she had other customers then stood behind check out and talked to other staff with no one there to cash out

Exceptional! Excellent quality and very knowledgeable staff. We have been buying shoes and boots for the whole family from this store for years. We have always been completely satisfied with our purchases.

Will never support this store. I attempted to go in and was stopped rudely at the door because i wasn’t wearing a mask. I tried to show the proof of my medical exemption and she said she would not except it. I was illegally discriminated against based on my medical condition. I wish I could give no stars. I will be BOYCOTTING !
