Spring Shoes

My grandma and I went into the store today very confused and not knowing the tips and tricks of shoe shopping. I was looking for something fancy and nice for prom but wasn't sure what would fit, or what would look nice with my dress. Mackenzie H, our associate was beyond helpful. She asked to see my dress and had me try on multiple pairs of shoes.. she didn't stop helping until I found a pair that I genuinely liked. She wasn't pushy and if a size didn't fit she wasn't upset about having to constantly go into the back to get the perfect fit. She was friendly, supportive and beyond the perfect associate. She told me to have a great time at my prom and she felt more like a friend rather an associate. My experience was great. She also helped my grandma find a nice pair for my graduation and my grandma liked her customer service as well. I would definitely come to the store again.

Ordered shoes online, only to find out 9 days later that they haven't even shipped yet. This is for my wedding, so it's kind of important. After chatting with support, they told me they can't do anything about it – not even giving me the location or phone number of the store so I can speak to them myself! They then told me I can't cancel the order until 10+ days after the order date, which makes zero sense. I then asked to speak to their manager, to which they said "there is no manager here and they won't call you back". Perfect. What a poorly managed, unethical company. Do yourself a favour and stay far away.

As far as I can tell, Spring doesn't offer wide sizing which is unfortunate as I fit 11.5W. 12 fits but is shoe specific: you win some, you lose some. Unfortunately I find this location maybe doesn't stock a lot of men's 12 because I seldom find stock of what I'm looking for. I've generally had great experiences here and love the quality of the shoes. There's been on a couple of occassions an uninvested employee at the till who will remain there while I look around, not asking me if I need help finding something. This isn't common, though, and generally the staff are attentive.

I was finding something different to wear but after some wait I found this place where I got my Best ever shoes..

I really really needed a pair of dress shoes for my friends wedding after my dog had gotten to mine and chewed them up just days before the wedding. I was running through the Pen when I came up on spring, I explained to the guy working, his name was Joe, my situation and he sprung into action to get me a great affordable pair as I couldn’t break the bank with bills and rent coming up. Thanks Joe you made sure I wasn’t the only guy at my boys wedding with no shoes.

I purchased a pair of boots in Cambridge Ontario. The pair I bought was the last size 9 available so one of them was a display. 4 hours later I go to return them at a St. Catherine’s location. The associate said they could not be returned or exchanged because they’ve been worn. The heel of the display boot I was given had a little wear on it from people trying it on. I personally didn’t even try them on in store let alone wear them after my purchase. She refused to return or exchange them. The display boot she had the issue with. I did not even try the boot on, the paper was still inside the boot and the stickers on the bottom of the boot clean as new. Never worn. Told me to go to the customer service chat on the website which was even a worse customer service experience. I then tried to call the original location I purchased the boots at and it was busy for over an hour and was unable to get through.

Long wait times for getting both shoes and perfect size.

On December 11 2020 I was at the pen centre dong so shopping. I notice some really nice boots at this shop. I approached one of the employees who was with her co-worker so now two employees to let them know due to a medical condition I am unable to wear a mask. One of the employees explained to me that it is in store and corporate policy they masks are required. She let me know that could order the boots online if I wanted them. I said that I would NOT be ordering them online. I do believe they are the only store in the mall that won’t allow a patron with a medical condition who is navel to wear a mask in their store. Since masks became mandatory I have not been refused entry in any store after explaining they I have a serious medical condition. The niagara regions by-law clearly states that people with medical conditions are exempt! I really do believe Spring has violated the Regional By-law Mask Exception policy. I will NOT be back to this store even when masks are no longer required by those who are able to wear them. This is unacceptable. If I could wear a mask I would.

My daughter bought 2 pairs of Winter boots at this store for Christmas and a pair for her. Being that they were vinyl she was told to buy spray for the boots which she did. They said it would help stop cracking. Well these boots both cracked after wearing twice. We went in January 4th and were told there was nothing they could do. It was not a manufacturer defect. REALLY !! 2 pairs both cracked. We were offered a 30% coupon to spend in the store. With quality and customer service like that they can keep there coupon I will never shop there again.
