I was introduced to this great little Italian restaurant by a good work friend of mine. I'm one of the few who isn't a fan of Italian unless its my best friends family cooking it from family recipes, but I truly adore this place! The pizza is absolutely perfect, not greasy and super tasty, cooked in a proper fire pizza oven. The pasta is also great, with truly delicious sauces red, white and rose. Really worth a visit, and the staff are kind and friendly! Great spot for a family night out for dinner.
Yummy Italian restaurant in the heart of Cochrane. You gotta try the prosuitto arugula pizza and seafood risotto. It's so good! The tirimisu is awesome as well! The owner is from Milan and is so nice!
If I could give this 10 stars, I would! Super cute restaurant. AMAZING fresh food. Excellent quality, even better service. Thank you Celeste for your wonderful and friendly service
The Boot is a cozy, family feeling place in the heart of Cochrane. Takeout or dine in options are night making choices in life!! The food is hot, fresh, presented well and most importantly…dee…friggin..licious!!! Portions are belly busting too. My go to is Pizza number 25 with the knuckle sized shrimp. Do yourself a favour and add some hot oil to it. My pops goes for the lasagna and my wife is all about the Tiramisu. The craving is real. We hit the dine in tonight and it was busy but nicely spaced and masks were worn by the staff. The eyes and service told the story though, Maria was great. Good this good does take a bit of time to come out so chill, laugh and raise a glass. If you are doing an apple the calamari is light and tender. Hope this helps and thanks for taking the time to read.
Seems like the pizzas here are hit-or-miss. We ordered 2 pizzas; both were tasty, but one has very few toppings. I wouldn't order that one again. The other had more toppings and a lot of cheese. I'm not sure I would order pizza from here again. I also ordered here a few years ago and the food was excellent, but after this experience my confidence is shook. Details: We ordered 2 pizzas March 11, 2023. The Monte seafood pizza was slim on the toppings. One of our pieces didn't even have shrimp on it! It felt like a 12$ pizza rather than a $20 pizza. It tasted good, but I wouldn't order this one again. On the flip side, the other pizza we ordered was loaded with mozzarella cheese and a respectable amount of meat and mushrooms.
These asians can sure make some gosh darn good Italian kuisine . When they say “worlds best tiramisu” they aren’t lying. If someone says this place isn’t good, give them the boot! Maddona! They even give reusable doggy boxes. Fan-freaking-tastic!
I had a tortellini norcina which became a ravioli dish because they were out of tortellini 5:30. Very tasty but somewhat small portion. My wife had the penne Primavera which was also tasty and a much more generous serving. There were no accompaniments with the entrees. We didn't have reservations and they got busy after we were seated, but we felt we were being rushed a bit. Service was efficient but not not overly welcoming. We had coffee, but instead of offering refills the server wanted our cups - even though my wife's wasn't empty. We declined on dessert because it didn't feel relaxed. We might try our again when we're back in town as the food was excellent, but the hospitality needs a pick up.
Ordered Gluten free pasta and got regular pasta. Not the first time we ordered Gluten free from here so we trusted them to handle it like in the past. Never again. My partner is now laying in bed in pain. Thanks, The Boot! Dietary restrictions: Totally dropped the ball on a big dietary restriction
My absolute favourite restaurant. Casual, friendly and great service. My favourite dishes are the spaghetti carbonara and prosciutto mushroom pizza. The salads are generous fresh and delicious. Love the Boot! Dietary restrictions: Nice that the Boot has gluten free options.
Here for Special Lunch everything absolutely perfect and delicious. Staff a delight and very very pleasant . Definetly will be going back.
