The Bird

Love this place! The chicken is really good. The seasoning is tasty and the chicken was really juicy. We only tried the mac and cheese, but they have quite a few sides to choose from. The staff were also super nice and the food was made fresh, but still very fast. I noticed their prices are a bit lower than they were listed online savings is always nice! By maybe a dollar or so, and their prices are very fair. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

Thought about ordering online, but ordering in person is so fast it doesn't make a big difference. Service is friendly and fast. Food is always good, very consistent, crispy and HOT chicken. Love the fries, slaw, and mac-n-cheese sides. The dipping sauces are perfect matches: the best ranch, honey mustard, and fry sauce. I got the spicy bites, and they are a great flavor! Almost like a mix of buffalo and sticky fingers. Not overly spicy and a tiny bit sweet. We love the strawberry lemonade. Will keep coming back!

Sad experience overall. May be cheaper than Chick-fil-A, but no where near as good. And for the love of baby Jesus, put some music on in the shop, it was so quiet and sad in there. Oh and dust, do that to.

Feels more of a take out place than a dine-in since there are no tables and just a small counter for waiting. The chicken is all together good. Enough spices added with crispyness makes the chicken taste great. You also get a good portion size serving of fries to with your meal. A good pit-stop for craving chicken.Food: 5/5

Upon reviewing The Bird in Syracuse, I found that the portion sizes of their fry sauce were inadequate, with only one small container provided for three tenders and fries. Furthermore, I was disappointed to learn that additional containers of fry sauce were available at an extra cost of 50 cents each, which I consider to be excessive. Considering the already high price of $10 for three tenders with fries, I believe this additional charge for sauce to be unreasonable. As a result, I regret to say that this experience has left me with a negative impression of The Bird. In the interest of constructive feedback, I would suggest that The Bird consider providing larger portions of fry sauce with their meals or offering additional sauce at no extra cost to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.

We ordered the chicken sandwich, a few tenders, Mac and cheese, coleslaw and fries. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The seasoning on the chicken is a great blend of spices and really makes this sandwich perfect. They did add Mayo which I don’t mind but for people who do, ask for no Mayo. I would say this was better than the Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich so if looking to get away from CFA, I’d highly recommend The Bird. The tenders were good too. They were more like flatter chicken breasts than what i am used to for tenders but that’s was better anyways. I felt like I was getting more for my money. Speaking of which, this place has very competitive pricing too! Mac and cheese wasn’t anything special but if you prefer that over coleslaw or French fries, def try it out! The coleslaw was kind f frozen when I got it so I did let it thaw a bit first before diving too much into it. Ultimately, it ended up being pretty good. Nothing outstanding but this place is made for the chicken not the sides! I also ordered the market salad during a separate visit. It was quite large for the price and had super fresh ingredients. I wish it had more sugar snap peas than it did but I was still satisfied. They also put the mini bites in a separate container so they didn’t mix with the salad before ready to eat. I love that! Overall, I’m very happy to live so close to this place and will be checking them out pretty regularly.

Just ordered The Bird for the first time. I usually don’t write reviews, but felt compelled to write this. The food was absolutely delicious! I was afraid I would have enough for my whole family but the portion sizes are great! The pricing is awesome! Fast and courteous service from the staff also! We will definitely order again soon! Thank You!

Extremely underwhelming. Limited options and the chicken was extremely greasy. Very basic sauce options and the Mac and cheese was overly basic almost to Kraft level. If you like big thick chicken tenders then it might be a good place for you. No inside seating other than a small bar style area with 5-6 seats crammed together. They also had two small tables outside but since it’s 40 degrees right now they aren’t very useful.

Edit: I have visited this location many times. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I really like the food and am excited to eat here again soon. I did have a recent issue, details unimportant, which was quickly addressed by management and resolved to my complete satisfaction. I'm glad to have a local business like this in my neighborhood.

Always delicious! Tons of food for the price and they're quick and kind! We've never been disappointed. Also, do yourself a favor and get a mini pie. Eat it on the way home. No one will know.Food: 5/5
