I was very happy to find this place. The food is very tasty. The wings are proper, crispy, meaty & saucy. Great atmosphere with lots of hockey memorabilia. Beer is cold and isn't flat. Great friendly people and friendly wait staff. Good place to go for some good food and enjoyable evening.Food: 5/5
Went for wing night with some of my extended family, we all had wings. The breaded wings were very crispy, and significantly better than the other location on the other side of town. My only complaint was that the wait staff offered many times to refill my wife's beer, but not once my Pepsi... We all ordered probably 20lbs of wings, sadly some were on the cold side. I attribute to our party size, but I expect better.
This may be my new regular haunt when in YYT. Friendly staff, varied menu, great sports selection on the screens.Food: 5/5
My last 2 times at the restaurant in a 3 day week period, the food was the same, luke warm. First time was a Tues wing night, it was busy, waitress was frazzled, another waitress stepped in to help, great to see. Unfortunately, luke warm wings and fries on a wing night is not good. They had a hockey team or two there that night, so very busy. Then 3 days later, last Friday of the month, boys night out, Had the Rings & Wings appetizer thinking apps are usually piping hot, unfortunately not. Rings & Wings were luke warm when delivered and 4 minutes later cold. Service was good.
Chicken Wings of the bigs restaurant used to be n.o 1 in the city. Nobody could compete with the quality of the wings there. But recently it declined so much that it has the worst wings right now in the city. Also they give wrong orders most of the time now. Around 3 out 4 orders will be wrong kind of wings. I really hope they improve their quality again
The biggest seller is the wings !! They have buy 1 get 1 wings every Monday and Tuesday which is a good deal. Although to me, it always seems like they provide a bit lesser quantity when ordered with the deal compared to a regular order. They also have a variety of deals throughout the week. I usually order takeout from this restaurant and it lets you order ahead. Have dined in couple of times and the service is not the fastest. They have good selection for food and drinks including wine. There are 3 seating areas; 1 bar section and 2 dining areas. They provide booster seats on request. Post covid, the restaurant has been in compliance with all the health regulations like socially distanced tables, dividers are cash counter, disinfecting tables between customers, etc.,
It was ok. To be fair we were a large group, which can be a bit challenging. Forgot to take plated pictures , only take-out picture. The service was good. Our server was not overly friendly, but she was efficient. She was not overly busy and she managed our table well. The food was ok, a bit lackluster but edible. I had nachos, the cheese was a bit overbaked and the chicken wasn't flavourful. My son had the pepperoni pizza, which he finished off in record time, and he said it was delicious, however the chips that it was served with were unappetizing overcooked. My partner had the clubhouse and he said it was good. For the food I would have given 3 stars, but since the service was good I gave 4.
Service was great, the atmosphere was great, and the food was okay. Wings were delicious as always, but the Nachos felt refrigerated they were that cold and sparse with toppings.Food: 3/5
I just want to thank the staff for the great service and helping my family! The service was so great that I heard about it in Edmonton! Way to go!!!
Love their wing nights on Mondays and Tuesdays!
