This is a cafe and bakery next to the old library that opens early. I'm glad that it opens early because there are not a lot of other places to eat at before work. I tried their breakfast sandwich which was pretty good the egg is plentiful. It does end up costing more with the added cheese tomato spinach bacon. There scones were good and buttery. I ordered two of each flavor of cookie. I expected them to be more chewy but they just tasted like standard cookies. I prefer the cookies to taste fresh and chewy. They have a website that looks like it should work but I've tried ordering three times and each time the order gets sent and then not completed.
One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to in Canada so far! They have GF and vegan options HOW AMAZING!! The atmosphere is beyond amazing, and such a friendly staff. Beyond helpful, and kind! DEFINITELY will be coming back!
I have never had a bad experience here. Fantastic drinks and food, friendly staff and a great space to visit with friends. My only complaint was that with the fire on I was super hot!Food: 5/5

Decent breakfast sandwich, order a tea next time.
Only been here a couple times but for the most part seems ok. Needs to be a bit more efficient though when it's busier. Great tasting cinnamon rolls. Caramel macchiato usually is quite good but really depends who makes it. Edit June 13/22: It's been a while since i was here but coffee is still pretty good. Always busy so expect a bit of a wait at times. Small choice of alternative type snacksgluten free and such. Numi teas and 1883 syrups just in case anyone needs specifics.
Super friendly staff!! Really cute and clean inside and free wifi to catch up with friends or do some work. Drinks taste amazing and they have drinks and treats for everyone including those with allergies. A little pricey but worth it for a treat once in awhile :
Bean Counter has always been awesome ever since my first visit there in summer of 2013. It's THE best place for coffees and baked treats in all of Williams Lake, and staff are super warm and kind.Food: 5/5
Best taste esp. CHAI LATTE .... staff is very courteous. Clean & Hygenic cafe. A genuine smile and courteous approach by every staff member as if they enjoy the work from heart and work like they own cafe. No one shows a feel of dissatisfaction or sadness. Kudos to this approach. To be very true & precise the food stuff & staff is the best i have seen since I moved to Canada. Added to all this i was impressed more by the senior lady who greeted with folded hands despite the rush to take order giving respect to cultural/ritual differences. It is more like a homely place with professional service. You guys can fail out even the best restaurants of lower mainland. Keep it up
I have many amazing experiences when it comes to my visits here. Cindy is such a kind and caring individual and her staff are always so friendly. The drinks and food are the absolute best. Definitely recommend this warm atmosphere and good food and drinks to anyone.
