Always wanted to try this place. Only open for 1 shift. Great breakfast spot when in Williams Lake.Food: 5/5
It's a great home cooking restaurant. Easy to support because it embodies good food, good people, and a local awesome owner. Kid-friendliness: It has lots of space and tables or booths
Restaurant should be named, “Nono’s Cafe”. The only good thing in this restaurant was the male waiter that was running back and fourth to keep the front of the house tamed. We ordered breakfast that came with hash browns. We were served the breakfast with no hash. The server was told and he went to the window to communicate to the kitchen. The woman then said, “we are running out of hash browns charge them $2.50”. The server replied with, “It comes with their meal” and the woman responds, “Well we are running out”. My question is this, Why should a customer pay extra for a product that YOU are running out of when it’s included in our meal? To continue this verbal assault a bit further, the eggs had a weird taste a long with the sausages. The only thing good about Nono’s Cafe was exiting. And yes, we were still charged extra.
Bad just really bad all around! Sat there for an hour & watched other tables come in after us. Served 1st & watched customers leave. Asked where our simple lunch was! Finally was served a horrible meal. A sandwich with shredded meat?! Ate & wore half of my soggy sandwich! 3 waitresses & completely disorganized! I wanted to go in & organize them myself! A customer came in looking for a table & mentioned he had to eat & leave within a half hour. Lol I told him it wasn’t going to happen here! He left!
My place to dine all year, great food Food: 5/5
Friendly staff. Good food, dosent cost an arm and a leg.
Great tasting home made Benny & omelette.
So happy to see they’re still surviving and running in a new location! Very good food and a real nice classic diner. Staff is friendly and helpful 100% of the time albeit a little slow at times. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Williams lake as it is a great option for the limited selection of unique restaurants we have to offer
Such good food! The chicken strips and mozzarella sticks were incredibly delicious. Staff was also very pleasant and it’s a nice environment.
The new location is quite nice! I am however rather disappointed that one of the three tables in the window is the STAFF TABLE. I remember this venue used to have plenty of seating in the main level diningroom. I'm glad this business has survived in Williams Lake for so long, its a favourite of my grandparent! As always the food is great.
