The Backyard Steak Pit

This place was really nice. We found this place (having not known about this location before) when we weren’t able to go to a different steak house and we’re all glad we did. The atmosphere is very pleasant and comfortable. The workers are very polite and seem really happy to be working there. The place was really clean. I definitely recommend people visit here.

Every time I go here and order a steak medium, they always make it well done. My girlfriend's steak is cooked correctly. Now we have to play the waiting game and can't enjoy our meal together which is the point. Well yesterday we went. Specially told my server about my issues to ensure its cooked properly. My steak comes out perfectly. Her steak on the other hand which is supposed to be well is medium. They throw it back on the grill which is an easier fix than an over cooked steak. And they bring her back these charred crispy strips that so black and tough. Their apologies and fixing the situation was to offer a free dessert. How can you compare compensation for a $35 steak with a $12 pie?! And when I voiced that complaint I'm offered it 10 more times. On the 3rd offer I told them, I don't even eat dessert. Why offer 7 additional times?

My wife took me here for my 60th birthday. What fantastic food ( l had Prime rib ), great salad bar, good service, clean restrooms & a very family orientated restaurant. I'll definitely be back with my family. 😊

Always wonderful service in a warm atmosphere, and absolutely consistently delicious food. If your dressed up or down, definitely find time stop here for dinner. Enjoy anything from steak to seafood. You won't be disappointed!

Looks quite different inside. Great service, great atmosphere, food was wonderful. Smoked pork chops quite tasty. Loved the salad bar, simple and fresh. Would definitely recommend.
