The Aurora Pancake House

Nice local spot! It is very outdated but the food is on point! I went there for breakfast with my family. We all enjoyed the food! The only thing the inside needs to be kept better and add some more light in there.

Had breakfast that consisted of half an order of biscuits and gravy, side order of bacon and a hot cappuccino. All were very good. But it was cold sitting by the window and absolutely freezing in the women's washroom which they clearly knew about because when my mom complained, the lady smiled.Food: 5/5

this aurora staple offers delicious food at a reasonable price. i chose the hungry boy plate, and it was served hot and delicious. it was my first visit, but it won't be my last.

I ordered food for pickup through Google yesterday around 330pm, which uses Doordarsh for order fulfillment. When my friend arrived to pick up my food at 4:21, the store was unlocked but empty, and there was no way for me to cancel the order on my end through Google. I came in the next morning to discuss the situation, and the restaurant had marked my food as picked up at 5:30pm. They would not refund the order or make my food, and when I presented the photos my friend had taken of the empty store, I was threatened as a trespasser. I will be contacting my bank for a chargeback, and definitely will not be coming back.

Updated review: Food is still delicious. Staff were decent. Food came out in stages and we had to remind the server about bringing out or salad, but still overall good experience. Previous review: Delicious food. Great staff. We were seated quickly, and safely distanced from others stupid Covid-19. After ordering the food came promptly. Temperatures of the food were appropriate as well.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Came here recently with my mom to grab breakfast and catch up! The service was impeccable very attentive but not over bearing or trying to hard! It's got a great wholesome atmosphere about it! The food was great with extremely generous portions! I will be coming back and telling all my friends to try!

This place is a real gem - best breakfast I have had in years! The quality of the food was incredible! We ordered a Belgian waffle, chilaquiles and the garden burrito. The Mexican food items were authentic and delicious. The waffle was hands down the best I have ever had. And they played videos of puppies on a TV in the main dining room. 5 stars!

Fabulous food and service. When you come ask for Alexandra. All servers should learn from her. First trip for us and we will be back. If you don't know what to order just ask Alexandra she gives wonderful advice. I give this a 10 star ratings. SUPPORT family own business. We need more restaurants like this one. The cook is also great, everything from soup to poached eggs were made with perfection. Don't miss this place.

Not friendly whatsoever, bug in my water...disgusting. Waitress noticed it and replaced my drink, but seriously I wasn't going to trust their food after that terrible experience. And yet I was still charged for my coffee.

Not happy with the quality of the food. The chicken noodle soup had a good flavor but the noodles were overcooked. The meat on our hamburger was over well done. The hashbrowns had no flavor to them. We will not go back to this place. The waitress didn't even ask if the food was ok.
