The Artful Cookie & Gift

Ordered a cookie and chocolate bouquet for family for Easter from Artful because I like to support local whenever I can. We were so pleased with what arrived at their place. It was exactly as it was represented on their website in the colour scheme I asked for. They loved it! Would definitely order again.

Where to begin …. We were so excited to be sending our grandson his first cookie/candy bouquet! He’s 4 and a half. We called the store on the Thursday prior to the long weekend to ensure delivery to be made on the Tuesday- his first day of school !!! Sadly Nana and Papa are far away and couldn’t share his first day of kindergarten. We were absolutely heart broken to find out the store delivered the next day - Friday !!! So the moment/excitement to the day… irrelevant, lost and gone forever. We called the store, so upset and they agreed to give us a full refund-we would have rather had the experience but at least they honoured service levels … NOT !!! NO, What the ?? We waited until the following Wednesday still waiting for our credit of $70+. So we called back the store, spoke with Sam, who apparently runs the store owned by her parents- We did ask for parents name but quickly told None of our business and that we were not going to get the refund as promised during our prior call. She would refund the $10 delivery. I asked if she truly understood the disappointment of what happened and was told she really didn’t and couldn’t care less. I asked to speak to some else …. No. So I again repeated, you didn’t deliver as requested, you spelt his name wrong, you agreed to a full refund, then that didn’t happen but you couldn’t begin to understand why we would be upset. We had the pleasure of dealing with the prior owner Grace for many years and always such great experiences. So… in the end ….. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!!! so that you don’t go through what we did … they truly don’t care. Oh, did I mention Sam chose to hang up on us too ??? The world is small Sam…. You made a choice in how you handled the business … yours and ours. We will continue to share our experience with you and Artful Cookie every opportunity we get, solicited or not. Bob and Vicki

I had ordered 3 trays of cookies for my client, she was unable to pick them up so we had them delivered. When I gave the addresses where they should be delivered, there was one in St. Catharine's about 5.6 km from the shop, and 2 in Niagara Falls--one close to Pettit Ave and the other was on Woodland Ave. I gave the postal codes and when I told them the Woodland address they said it is considered Chippawa its not anywhere near Chippawa. I was shocked--but I had to get this done for the client. Yes, the client agreed to the cost unfortunately because there was no other way to deliver the cookies. The bill was over $170 with the cost of delivery being $47 with a driving time of 1 hour. The cookies are always good. Buyer beware for delivery charges--and the only thing I would disagree with is that address in NOT Chippawa.

I have ordered gifts from here many times and all the people that received these cookies couldn't stop telling me how good these were and then I ordered a couple of dozen just for our house and all I could say was I am so glad I decided to gift friends and family with cookies from you. Keep up the good work and I am so happy to be able to support a local business. Thanks for everything. I will be ordering again soon.

I cannot say enough amazing things about this place!! I'm hooked on this place its now my go to for gifts! Started with my bestie mentioned to me someone sent her a basket of cookies & they were delicious so I ordered a valentine's basket for my man & oh boy it went over very well. Most delicious cookies ever well I've ordered 7 more baskets since then lol. The presentation of the baskets are very well done they look almost too pretty to eat..almost lol definitely recommend this place. Tour doing an amazing job artful cookie ladies

Cookies are delicious! We had a basket delivered here which was an awesome surprise! I just wish the person delivering them didn't ring the bell 5 times in the matter of 30 seconds. I literally had to run from the shower to the door sopping wet with a towel around me to stop her from waking my sleeping baby. I would suggest waiting a minute or two before you ring the bell a second time.

Very helpful staff with wonderful ideas!...my parents loved the basket we gave them for their Anniversary!

I sent my Dad a cookie bouquet as a surprise for his birthday! It looked great and the cookies were bigger than I expected! They wrapped cookies to match the colors of his favorite football team. Hand poured chocolates tasted great too!

What a positive experience I had ordering from Artful Cookie. They went above and beyond by calling me to let me know they sent the same bouquet to my friend that I had ordered and offered to change it for me so they didnt receive 2! What amazing service!! THANK YOU!! Highly recommend!!!
