That Pie Place

I went into That Pie Place for the first time this evening. The owner, Jamie, took the time to chat with me for probably 15-20 minutes. Very nice guy! I bought 5 savoury pies, and he threw one in for free. Tonight I baked the steak and cheese pie. Followed the directions of doing an egg wash on top, baking, and letting it sit for 15 mins before eating. The first bite I took, I literally said out loud “Oh my god!”. This is literally the best pie I have ever tasted in my life! Thank you so much for the chat, Jamie! I look forward to trying the other pies I bought! Will definitely go back to see you, and get more pies! :

They made me a strawberry rhubarb cherry pie, and it was amazing. The crust was so good it melts in your mouth. I loved the fruit combination I chose, and will definitely be buying it again. Big thank you to the owner they were super friendly.

This place has Delicious Tourtiere pies. Four stars because I felt like I was not welcomed there. I was told there were no more pies left by one girl while the other girl offered it to a lady asking for it. Then suddenly the girl who was helping me remembered they had some. So, customer service can be improved.

The meat pies, tarts, and lasagna were great. We tried two quiche , ham , cheddar, and asparagus; and broccoli and cheddar: both terrible. They were watery, could not be lieve it. Like no eggs were in the batter to set it up. Went to the trash, both.

Went here for the first time. They have a wide variety of pies and tarts, I got a chicken, mushroom and leek pie frozen, I baked it at home and it was delicious. I could not came home without butter tarts so I got plain and pecan . The pecan ones were my favorite! The crust and filling were amazing! I’d definitely go back to try their other products! Definitely recommended .

Bought butter tarts - wow, amazing taste. I will buy them again. One consideration - they smelled like the meat pies ie. onions, garlic, etc. We thought it was the packaging so we took them all out of the package and put them in our own container. That helped, but still a hint of the smell and taste 48 hours later. One family member was so thrown off by the smell and wouldn’t eat the butter tarts. Suggestion - find another way to package and store them. I would be hesitant to buy a fruit pie for the same reason. It’s too bad.

Maybe we got a bad apple pie? Because what we got was dry, dry, dry- inside and out! On top of that, the pie tasted like onions- I guess it’s okay if you like apple pie and onions, etc. It was absolutely terrible and even our kids didn’t want it at all after having a taste. The filling itself was so bland! Just bad all around! What a waste of money/ I should have just gone to So Ty’s or Longo’s where they make their own pies as well for half the price. Oh and the service was not friendly at all- maybe the woman had a rough day, but very unfriendly.

At my mom and dad's today and had the most delicious pecan tart I have ever eaten. The filling was incredible and the pastry the best I have ever had. I asked from where and she told me That Pie Place! I will be placing an order very soon! Yummy!

Happy to support a local business, and one that cares about the quality of their ingredients. First time trying anything from here. Picked up the butter tarts, peach pie, and chicken pot pie. The crust is rich, flaky, and delicious! The tart and pie fillings were even better. The butter tarts were a tad on the sweet side, but that's just my personal taste. The family devoured the chicken pot pie. I would definitely recommend the pies here. You really can taste the difference from scratch makes versus buying mass produced stuff. When in a pinch for dinner, I would definitely serve one of their savoury pies to my family and feel good about it knowing it is a quality product.
