Very beautiful interior and atmosphere, our service was excellent and they were able to make a last minute reservation for us. I got the Matar paneer and it was delicious with great portion sizes enough for lots of leftovers. My husband got the mango chicken entree and really enjoyed it. A little bit more expensive but we really enjoyed the Indian food they had.
The atmosphere and food are amazing. The service was prompt and attentive. As for the food, the fish pakoras were perfect. The lamb Rogan Josh was flavorful and tender. I will definitely come back.Food: 5/5
Out of all the restaurants I went to in Saint John, Thandi was the most crowded! The place was packed for a random Wednesday and with good reason, their food and service was fantastic. Their curries come with naan and rice so they're super filling and it was delicious too. We ordered mango lassi along with our meal, I'd definitely recommend it.
This is a solid dining choice in Saint John. Very good ambience and attentive waiting staff. The food was delicious - the Samosa had a delicate crust and flavourful filling topped with a nicely spiced chick pea sauce and the Chicken Tikka was LOADED with tender pieces of chicken in a rich, spicy masala - very good! IMO, Naan is the food that brings it all together and this is a miss for me. This is the first time I’ve had a packaged Naan at an Indian restaurant which seems unfortunate for a place that put so much pride into the other dishes.
Our waiter Jerry ? was very attentive and friendly and our food was amazing! I highly recommend this restaurant. I also appreciate all of the vegetarian/vegan options on the menu.
I have to mention the food first, because it is phenomenal!! I have no doubt their food would impress anyone who loves a good curry. The atmosphere is warm, comforting and welcoming. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If there was one downside, we were in and out the door in about 35 minutes, which felt somewhat rushed. I did not even finish my drink as I did not want to chug the last few gulps. This was a Saturday night so I do understand the needs to keep traffic flowing. All in, it was a great experience, the only point of contention was feeling a bit rushed as my partner and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary, and wanted the evening to feel longer.
Had a wonderful dinner here recently. The food was amazing! Mike was our server and was very attentive to our needs during the meal. My spouse had the beef vindaloo and I had the veg curry. Great sized portions and everything tasted so good! Can't wait to visit again!
Fantastic find in St. John! Exceptional service from Bob for our party of 7. The bartender coordinated a table for us and served up great cocktails. Try a Bazooka Joe! The chef checked on our table to verify a steak temp and to make sure appetizers were to our liking. The combo Satays were awesome. Highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you all for a great meal and fantastic hospitality from Team Drake, Cypress, TX.
First time in NB and celebrated our anniversary took a chance ! What an amazing experience and the food was delicious. Our server Gerry exceptional communication and genuine personality. He clearly understood our celiac allergies and also shellfish . We felt validated, heard and safe . Absolutely best dining experience in a very long time and beautiful atmosphere. Thank you for making our evening so special .
Five people ordered lunch and all five had amazing dishes. Shrimp pad Thai was great but everything on the menu sounded just as good. Our waitress was fantastic. We were in town for the day and she answered all our questions about Canada and Saint Johns and it was honestly the highlight of our day!
