Pad thai was ok. Too much ketchup? Chinese style stir fry beef "hor fun" was tasty for "wok" taste but the noodles were a bit too broken up.
Love eating here when I get the chance. The owners are really great people, and I have had a couple friends who have worked here and say they are good people to work for. The food is well made and tastey. I always try and get the chicken fried rice on the sode of whatever meal I order becuase they make it so well here. Its not usually very busy which is a shame, but it makes getting a table easier, so come down and try them
Best place to enjoy delicious Indian food. However, when dining there you should have at least 2 hours as the service is slow. But the wait is worth the taste.
We were passing by Bellville and found this restaurant. There's construction on the street where they are. Don't let that deter you. The food was awesome! We had the lunch specials that comes with a side salad, spring roll and soup for $9.95. Basil beef w' rice, green pineapple curry w' rice and pad-Thai. beautifully displayed and tasted so good. Very clean establishment. Our server was very polite. Their deep fried banana with honey sauce was great also. Would come back when we are in the area.
Came for lunch and got the red curry chicken special with an egg roll and my husband got the peanut chicken. Also got a soft Thai spring roll which was good. The red curry chicken didn’t really taste like a curry and was rather bland, however the peanut chicken was enjoyable. We avoided the Pad Thai based on other reviews.
The green curry was decent. Made medium spicy. The coconut rice was just salty. Good portion of the curry and rice. The pad thai however, was a hard lump in the takeout container. Had no bean sprouts which may have helped the noodles from sticking so badly. Also asked for medium spice and it was not spicy at all. And the sauce....it was literally a sweet tomato sauce. We did not ask for Italian food.... I hate giving bad reviews. But the curry was not worth returning when the rest of our food was so poor.
Thai Garden was great! Lisa was taking care of us and was super helpful with recommendations on food allergies I am very allergic to wheat. Dinner for two with teas, appetizer and two meals was incredibly affordable. Green curry was delicious, the soft spring rolls were very good and the pad Thai was unique - I liked the different approach with adding more tomato to the flavour.
Great, fresh and beautifully prepared within sight,Thai and Chinese food. Very reasonably priced with a quiet, very basic decor, but also with covered outdoor patio. This mom and pop shop couple duo are adorable, hard-working and friendly with prompt and courteous servers. Value and taste that can't be beat. The Cantonese Chow mein with shrimp, thin-sliced pork strips, and chicken with abundant veggies is my favorite with choice of how hot or not you want it spiced. Great light flaky spring rolls too. Just a regular who thinks highly of this small gem and its people.
Awesome Pad Thai and Egg Rolls, I am sure they have other great things but the Pad Thai is so darn good its all I order! nice and quiet, great to bring families. the kitchen is exposed to the dining area so you can see them make everything!
This is a small restaurant with quiet and serenity in mind. It also features an outdoor patio seasonal of course. I love the food here and many dishes can be modified to mild, medium or spicy; just to your liking. My personal favourite is Chicken & Shrimp Pad Thai however there are many others to recommend; guess my second choice is Honey Orange Chicken with chicken fried rice OR Fried Shrimp with Lobster Sauce with sticky rice. Hmmm good. Highly recommended.
