Has a very distinct country dive bar feel. However food and drinks are both clean and affordable. Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday is fun, chicken wings are to die for.... made with special twice breaded technique. Attracts a pretty clean crowd but is a very casual place.

So came here just to get away. The hotel is very nice. Rooms are small but comfy. Was not happy that we had to share a bathroom. Food was OK at best. I had chicken pot pie which I felt was a bit on the smaller side. Wife had Burger and fries and she really enjoyed it. They sell local craft beer which again was really good. Come for the experience

Definitely not the fanciest place around, but our top choice when it comes to drinks and country music. The bartenders are super friendly and the music is usually on point!

We stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday around 1pm. There was 3 or 4 tables going so it wasn’t terribly busy. A “waitress” came over to take our drink order right away. The spicy ceasar was great. The food, however, was a different story. We ordered a chicken ceasar with soup and a beef dip with a garden salad. The ceasar wrap was average (pretty hard to mess that up) and the tomato veg soup was pretty watered down. My beef dip was soaked in some sort of packaged gravy mix and couldn’t have been more than 5” long (i regret not taking a photo). I asked for olive oil and lemon on the side for my salad and instead got a cuontainer of balsamic sitting on top of the salad which had spilled all over it. For some reason they also gave me fries which were comprised of more salt than potatoes. After the 2 mins it took me to finish the beef dip, the “waitress” came back to take my plate and asked if I wanted to eat the salad. When I said “no” she asked my girlfriend if she would like to eat it. She declined and then said well how about I wrap it up for you, it’s brand new”. Lol We promptly settled up, left a minimal tip and will never return.

Great watering hole and Historical Hotel darting back to 1904 (before Alberta was a province). I had the "Yorkies" this trip and they never disappoint! Very open and spacious old style saloon, and the staff are very friendly and efficient in their serving. I'm 50 minutes away and the trip is always rewarding and fun.
