Terra Perma

Terra Perma is a fantastic and cozy forest retreat! I stayed in the TerraSol with my son and a good friend at the beginning of December 2016. Even with the cold December weather, looking out the large front windows at the snow quietly falling throughout the trees from within this beautifully crafted structure, it was a peaceful, enchanting, and soul nourishing experience. I truly enjoyed my evenings reading and drinking tea in the warmth of the wood stove in the TerraSol. I can't wait to return in the warmer weather as well! A blissful escape from the city. I stayed with my wife on a crisp October evening at "Terra Sol". Elan, the camp manager, was very helpful at all times and made our stay memorable. We had a tour of the different hiking trails with detailed descriptions of the beaver dam and how they have raised the level of the lake. Remarkable! The cabin itself is a comfortable, truly ecological, masterpiece as is the area surrounding it. My wife and I enjoyed cooking outside and looking at the stars in the heart of Nature. Terra Perma is a visionary ecological community with its feet very grounded in the real world. Inspiring.

Dragonflies, frogs in the forest, floating raft on golden lake. Working in the garden, tasting most delicious strawberries, making trails through the woods, cooking on outdoor fires, listening to birds... Great people- visionary place. Love the yurta experience, with wood-burning stove, hammock, skylight to see the stars...

I stayed almost a week in the Groovyyurt Mongolian yurt at Terra Perma and it was awesome!! The bed was comfortable, The sites are so nicely arranged, with everything I needed for my stay, a short walk through the woods to the beautiful lake, the stars at night are gorgeous -- and I couldn't believe how close it is to the town of Tremblant.

I love it here! An enchanted forest, magical wildlife, an agro-ecological approach to gardening and farming - it truly is paradise. Every eco-construction has it's own charm and beauty. Definitely a wonderful place to spend a few nights or forever.
