We parked our RV here for one night as we drove between Denali and Seward. It was perfect for what we were looking for: a low cost place for us to sleep with a great view! At first glance, it was very minimalist in amenities. We found two clean bathrooms and our site was equidistant from both, about a five minute walk. That was about the only amenity we took advantage of at Tenderfoot Creek. The sites definitely had a private feel, they were separated by pretty thick tree coverage. I'm not sure this would be an ideal location to spend a lot of time, but it worked incredibly well for just passing through. Plus, the view of the light cascading over the trees and eventually illuminating the lake at dawn will remain an unparalleled sunrise in my memory.
