My girlfriend and I stayed in the A frame a couple of times. It is perfect for the 2 of us and our dog. Very short walk across the street to the sunrise chair lift. It is clean, has a fridge and microwave. Overall a very nice room for a couple and their furry friend.

The Telemark Motel is a wonderful place. We recently stayed for New Years and this past week for a few days. We love coming up and skiing but also bringing our dog with us as well. So it was very hard to find somewhere that allowed us to have him. The A-frame we stayed in was perfect for two people and a dog. We are avid skiers so we aren't in our room to much but when we were there, there was definenlty enough room and it was cozy. We especially love all the doggy decor it really makes us and our dog feel welcome. We also really liked the new owners as well very friendly people and very helpful to anything we needed. The other reason we loved it there was the location. We could just put on our boots and walk on over to sunrise and hit the slopes. All in all I would recommend the telemark to anyone and we will be back in the future many more times to come!!

Worst motel I've ever stayed at sums this up well. My family debated whether or not to pay more for staying at the inn at holiday valley. I chose wrong, the price may be lower but don't be deceived this motel is terrible. You can hear every movement of the people staying above you and the motel makes odd noises 24/7. Rooms aren't designed well. Shower head is very old and only shot out hot water in one hard stream. Sinks are extremely small, as if designed for midgets, room is very small. Overall spend the extra money to stay at holiday valley when you ski during the winter.

I'm giving this place 4 stars on a scale for Motels. The room made a mixed impression at first. It's roomy enough, with charming rustic wood beams and a lovely view of the creek in the back. Unfortunately my room smelt as if a smoker were chain smoking in the room for a week before I got there. The walls are also very thin, so you can hear conversations next door even at talking volume. I never watch tv on vacation, but their tvs are hilariously old tube tvs. I can confirm what others are saying, the room does make weird noises (mostly the radiators shaking and rattling). It did not bug me, but it is there. While cheaper than everything around, $202 a night is still very pricy for a motel room. It's clear the bathrooms have been redone recently. While the main room had some chipped paint and old torn lamp shade, the bathroom had nice tiles, fresh paint and just felt cleaner overall. The owner is also very nice. For a budget weekend on the slopes the telemark motel is very convinient, acceptable across the board. I would go back again.
