Most managers I’ve encountered here are rude, obnoxious, and act as if my money belongs to them. They’ll hold large cheques for 10 days. Try running a small business with TD, they will do everything in their power to help themselves and make your life miserable. Something has to change because what you are doing at your bank is beyond incorrect.
I've been td customer forever we've had car loans line of credit mortgage car insurance credit cards and my pay direct deposit. I went to this branch today with a bank draft for 14,000 and was told I could only access 2,000 and the rest is on hold for 5 business days. The whole purpose of a bank draft is its to get access to the whole amount asap and it being secure. I'm not impressed with being treated this way from a bank I've done lots of business with and made plenty of money from my wife and I over the years. Shame on you. Time to take our business elsewhere if this is how I'm going to be treated.
The manager of this branch couldn’t be farther from professional and well educated. Dealing with a fraud issue and the management doesn’t even know how the process works.nI’ve been told by both collections and customer relations that the fraud report stays at branch level for 30 days. When I told the manager that I would’ve appreciated a call to notify me the case has been closed and sent to collections… she told me it has nothing to do with the branch and collections deals with it.nOn top of this her entire attitude from the beginning of the interaction was cold and condescending. When she approached the tellers desk, no hello or smile. Just straight to business and telling me what she sees on the computer….nI also spent a half hour with the teller running back to the manager to confirm that the account change I made would work for me. The next day my account was closed and I have been told by customer relations to go back to the branch since it’s at their level.nI believe the manager requires some new training.
Edit: Seems to have been a shift in the workforce and is more pleasant to work with.nnBeen a long time bank member here. Constantly screwed by them. First when I caught fraudulent activity on my account they blamed me. Then after 6 months they refused to deposit my cheques in person.I was about to set up a business account here. Too bad I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. All the useless charges for money they don't even have on hand.
Not a pleasant experience for the in branch. More like a hurtful experience. Suggestions below:nn1. May I suggest not to roll over your eyes when a customer asks a basic question politely.nn2. May I humbly suggest to the customer service staff not to practice racial profiling. It hurts and yes we can tell from your expressions.nnThis is the 2nd time it happened and guess what this is our 2nd trip to the bank :nnCheers, and yes avoid racismif possible. Thank you!
