This place is an absolute joke! AVOID! But then, where else will you go? So beware the outrageous level of incompetency which will result in so much frustration and lost time? Number one- my wife set up an appointment to open a business account and apply for a business credit card. We arrived ten minutes late. The agent told us that we would not have time to do both and would only do the forms for the account. My wife asked why, he said that he had another appointment in one hour and no one told him about the application for the credit card and that the account and the card would take about two hours. My wife said that she confirmed this appointment and set aside two hours already. He said that we arrived late. Number two- about a week later, my wife returned to fill in the forms for the credit card. Another employee looking over the paperwork for the account said that she'd have to redo the whole thing because the previous agent had made several mistakes. He then filled in the forms for the credit and said that the one we were applying for was the best for our needs. He never told us about service fees and although we asked for $5000 he raised the amount to $10,000. I'm thinking now that there recent scandal involving lying to clients and supplying misleading or devious advice had something to do with this increased amount. Number three- About two weeks later we received our credit cards. About two weeks after that, we received a statement showing $150 owing on the primary card and $50 on the secondary. We were never told about these fees and demanded to have the cards changed over to non-fee ones. The person we called from the number on the card told us to go to the branch to have the fees waived. We went to the branch waited twenty minutes and were told that all we needed to do was have the primary card holder ask for the fee waive over the phone. So we called and spent another 45 minutes to have this done. Number four- As we were talking on the phone with one of the representatives, he looked at our business account and said that given the amount of money we had in it and the number of transactions we were doing that we had not been given one that suited our needs and that we were paying too much. Number five- My wife went to pick up the envelope with the new credit cards two days ago and I opened the envelope today to find that only hers was in it and not mine although we were told that both would be sent out at the same time. Number six- I purchased RRSP about a month ago. I sat down with one of the investors to put the funds into my mutual fund account and he could not access the accounts through his terminal. Number seven- it took about three and a half hours hours over two days and seven phone calls to find the people who knew how to close multiple accounts that one of the investing firms associated with the TD had set up to invest my money. I had simply wanted to stop receiving multiple paper statements. TD stands for Total Disaster!

Good branch, trying to be helpful but very very very long lines. No matter what time of the day you come.

Just a bad place to go in ! No Service !! you have to wait for almost every transaction for the approval of the manager which is always on lunch!!!!
