This place has gone so down hill and continues to fall. Major staff turnover, and service has fallen as a result. I’ve used this branch for 20 years, and it becomes extremely frustrating having a bank balance that can cover a certified cheque, draft or even a cheque, but they put a 7 day hold on it. Not to mention very extensive periods for “Fraud Protection” that tie up your account. A few years ago when the long term staff like Bobby, Hanna ect things were so different. Now it seems like every time I’m here there’s different staff, unfamiliar faces trust issues, and a different branch manager. This said I’m here every few weeks. This review will change nothing, just making those aware Reply: and what difference will it make? So you can tell me the same information the new tellers tell me every week? I’m coming Thursday with a $800 certified cheque, can’t wait to have yet another hold on Guaranteed cheque.
They suspended my card which I’m fine with. I went there and asked if I could I unsuspend my card they said sure. After 5 minutes of them going on the computer and doing their thing, he said I needed a health card. I came back the next day with my health card just for them to say that they can’t do anything about it. They gave me a number to call so I called but been on hold for a total of 6 hours no answer. I called TD and was on hold for another 2 hours still no answer. Had enough with it.
Best TD bank in town to deal with in my opinion. Big thanks to the management team that always goes above and beyond. Christine, Joy and Cauline! Keep up the great work.
I was there September 9th 2022. I was trying to deposit a work cheque. I was just paid by the same people on the cheque, and I was wearing a jacket with the exact name on the front of it. The guy looks at me, and then looks at my cheque. "Where did you get this?" Which I felt like it was none of his business. But they seemed like they wanted me to over react, so I could lose the right to the conversation? I felt discriminated against and disrespected. Then I drived way across town to Betts Ave TD,and not even and even close to what I got at Lawson .
This place has seriously gone down hill. Terrible, seriously, personal or business support and they got rid of their business line. Talk about wasting an hour with untrained staff. Never wanted to switch banks so much in my life.
Today, on a visit to deposit at a teller, I observed a client escalation that was being handled by a female staff member. The customer was displeased and vocal regarding a problem that the staff member was unable to immediately reconcile, but offered assistance in finding out more with the other departments/staff members involved. Not only did the situation sound difficult to deal with, but another customer immediately followed the first to bring up a problem with his services/card as well. The last I saw, she volunteered to call a different department directly instead of having the second client call. I noted her professional demeanour and polite, non-inflammatory words. Her conflict resolution skills were commendable.
What a mess! Unknowledgeable and so many mistakes. Went to the branch to make a huge lump payment on a LoC and they made a payment to an account with a zero balance. Trying to get this fixed was nightmare. How could someone make this mistake? People telling you can do things online and then at the branch absolutely not. They need to get people who know what they are doing. They can’t do bank to bank transfers automatically? Is this 2022? A huge bank like TD and their huge fees and lack of knowledge is why we moved our accounts out of there. Very disappointing on so many accounts. Uggh
My experience was very disappointing. I was dealing with a mortgage specialist and it should have been simple and straight forward but it was not. I am a long time customer and expected better service. Our dealings took over 10 months to complete with many follow up phone calls and trips to the branch to move it along. The trips, stress and cost in higher interest rates being paid, I was offered an apology for the length of time it took and the return of a minor fee by the branch manager, Christina. It was the lack of care and not taking responsibility for the process that was the most frustrating when dealing with this branch.
Despite multiple difficult and verbally abusive customers in the bank during my visit the tellers handled them professionally. Stop going into businesses and yelling at people for doing their jobs. What's wrong with society?
Very poor customer service, Been trying to set up a bank appointment but no one will return my calls. Plus the bank staff seems to have high turn around and every time I start dealing with someone next time I need something they no longer work there.
