Dont deal with this branch. Totally incompetent, especially rep. Walaa Ibrahim who lacks customer service acumen.
Avoid this branch…tried to get financing and did not hear back for three weeks, went to Desjardins and the matter was resolved in less than 24 hours
Agent Maria Eid is unhelpful and unprofessional. She did not bother to navigate the history of my banking issue and just assumed that she knows the story. She did not bother to verify the promotion that was offered to me, nor check the communication emails TD sent me. She was talking to me while pacing in the bank. It seems that she is not happy with her job nor wants clients to stay with them. In the first place, TD emailed me an invite to this promotion so, I took my time to comply and actually all agents have been accomodating aside from her athough 1 or 2 agents gave me wrong information. That's 5x visits of a pregnant woman only to claim that $300 promo on top of being tossed back and forth on phone. She insisted I need to make my TD account as a direct deposit. Well, honestly I am a nurse and this bank does not deserve my money. I only opened it for my baby who had been a witness of all this since August. If you the manager of this branch is reading this post, I have the proof email that 2 out of 3 options are required for me to comply by September 2020 deadline and I did two of that and supposedly get my welcome credit of $300 in November but because of a mis info It went all the way up to now and yet still denied. Obviously, your agents require training of ongoing promos may it be online or at the bank. She lack judgment to handle this case. I did my part to comply and deserve that credit but now I closed my account thanks to Maria. If it wasn't for her rude attitude I would have kept the account open regardless of the promo and Lynne P. Was very nice but I would not want to bring my money to a bank where I do not get customer satisfaction or simply a helping professional attitude. I am happy to stay with RBC. I am beginning to think TD promos are a scam. Pls stop luring people and waste their time to join your bank if you cannot meet expectations. I am extremely disappointed as this was my first time to do banking in this area as I just recently moved. Definitely a bad experience for the past 7 months being here.
Karla .X. Elasjovel was unhelpful and unprofessional, she looked like she was in a hurry, she wasn't interested finding an answer for a customer, other than that she gave me misinformation concerning a cross border account mortgage, that being said I validade that the information she gave me was false by calling another TD department.
Genuine TD customer service, bilingual and friendly. Green lights and a welcoming atmosphere. Parking lot can be crazy during busy hours.
