i went there to cancel a wire payment worth thousands of dollars. after many days of terror for me, i called td costumer service hotline adn they informed me that the incompetent people over here didn't even upload a cancellation e-form! this temporarily put me in debt and a lot of trouble! shame!

Trying to get RESP transfer done for over a month. Very disorganized and poor service. Employee does not know the correct procedure for transfer causing huge delay. No progress in over a month's time. Updated Dec 15: Still not done after almost 3 months and they are telling me that they have put extraordinary effort for doing this transfer.

I have always been a huge fan of TD. I've been with them since I was 7 years old. For many years I've enjoyed their service, and extended hours. Recently I've began dealing with their advisors and my experiences have taken a sharp downturn. I recieved misinformation once which ended being a big hassle and costing me $20 I shouldn't of had to pay. And TWICE now I've spoken with a representative, and they've said "I'll call you when..." And they never call me back, or finish dealing with my situation. Very disappointed. 2 stars because they have great hours though.

AVOID THIS BANK AT ALL COSTS. 3 weeks later and they 'overbook' us. Cancelled 3 appoints now. Everytime it's some kind of excuse when it comes to getting our inheritance. I am going to be making a formal complaint against this branch with the BBB. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS BANK

Tried to Deposit an ICBC issued cheque, worth over 8k, was told they would have to phone ICBC to confirm the cheque was legitimate. Guilty till proven innocent, and held my money hostage! Plus, was told I would be called in the morning by a tall guy named Mike that was some type of superior, and he would let me know it was deposited. I'm still waiting for my call Mike.
