I had a great time at Taya, I had Anna who took care of my haircut and color! She did a fantastic job and walked me through what she was doing. I'll definitely come back for future touch ups and other services they have. In addition to this, they only take debit or cash : Highly recommended!

UPDATE - 09/09/22 I filed a complaint and a request for a refund. Vivian at reception was really helpful in escalating my concerns. She connected me with Taya’s owner, Matthew Yu, who was really apologetic and understanding. He refunded me almost immediately while also personally offering to cut my hair to fix Stella’s mistakes. I ultimately decided to decline the haircut, but I can appreciate Matthew’s quick response and desire to make it right with his customers. You can tell that Matthew cares about his customers and I only wish all of his staff shared the same values. FIRST VISIT - 09/07/22 AVOID BOOKING STELLA PARK. WORST HAIR STYLIST - CHOPPY HAIRCUT FOR $60. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM HER - but all other staff members seemed nice and friendly. Stella was unprofessional and did not exemplify what I expected from Taya as a first time customer. I went to the salon today for a women’s haircut. I waited for 15 - 20 min despite having an appointment and Stella rushed me in without offering a robe or cleaning her station that was full of the previous clients’ hair all on top of the counter. She didn’t ask me what kind of haircut I wanted or introduced herself; no conversation at all. She rudely asked if I needed a wash the second I sat down so she ushered me to the washing station. She threw a towel on my face and washed my hair roughly for less than 1min. No conditioner and no massage; barely cleaning. No towel around my neck or clothes and she was splashing water into my ear, on the backside of my neck and onto my clothes. I had to ask her if she will be asking what hair cut I want, as she seemed to have completely forgotten to ask me. She eventually asked me what I wanted for my haircut, which was hard to show after my hair became soaking wet. She aggressively dried my hair, yanking my hair left and right and using excessively hot air. Apparently she’s been a hair stylist for 20 years but her technique is clearly not there. I didn’t know my haircut was TERRIBLE until I went home and showered. My hair came out extremely choppy with MANY distinct sections that were not blended AT ALL with the rest of the haircut. There are also random strands of hair that were not cut as you can see in the photo to the left. I wish I booked with someone else. Now I need to find another salon to fix the mess she made. I don’t see any reason to return to Taya and would advise others to CHOOSE WISELY before booking an appt at Taya. Also they only take cash and debit FYI.

Been going to Taya for over a year. My husband and I get hair cuts from Lia and we are both very happy with her haircuts. The staff are very professional and the entire experience is very relaxing. I also get my hair straightening treatments here. It can get very busy so it's recommended to book in advance. They have an online booking system for haircuts so it makes it very convenient to book.Services: Hairstyling

I live right across this Salon and from the start when I booked an appointment. The staff are very accommodating and friendly to engage with me and very flexible to book my appointment. During the appointment, Celine was very friendly and connected with me through great service. She listened to what I wanted for my hair, the style and color. She's very personable and friendly. I've been using this hair salon 8years and will continue this routine for my future life. I love all the staffs here. All the staffs have pretty good skills and never had disappointed me. I don't have a fixed hair stylist, and I usually book the appointment as long as there is an available spot because I know every hair stylist here is good enough.

Each time I come to Taya Salon, the experience is always amazing. Chloe is a great hair stylist and I’m always so happy with my haircut. She gives great advice on my cut/style and makes sure that I’m happy with it. Definitely recommend!

I did my perm hair straight at this place in November. This was my second time. When I did for the first time last year, my hair turned out very smooth, silky and straight. But this year it was very bad experience . Hannah did my hair this year. It was very bad experience. My hair looks very frizzy and wavy. Such a Waste of money. If you would like to get a perm straight at this place, please go with different hair dresser. She is very inexperienced.

Great layered haircut and magic setting perm. While it’s a bit pricey, they do what they can to provide the best service possible. They even help me with caring for the hairstyle at home and are willing to give a lot of advice to any question. I would definitely recommend them.Services: Hair straightening

Unhappy customers! I went there with my daughter for a hair cut. I noticed that my daughter's hair wasn't straight, one side was longer than the other, so, I fixed her hair myself at home. I paid over $100 for two. They didn't accept credit cards so I paid in cash. I only had a hair cut with no shampooing, no styling. They still charge me $45 plus tax, about $50 for a hair cut. What a rip-off. I paid the total amount anyway. However, I will never go back there again. It was such a bad experience I've ever had.
