I've gone to this salon a few times before for haircuts and every single time has been a great experience! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The space is also well-kept and inviting. I usually get my hair done with Luxe. She is amazing and a very thorough stylist. She takes the time to work with you to achieve your desired cut or style while considering your unique hair type. She also offers great hair care and styling advice. I recently got a balayage with her, which is my first time ever colouring my hair, and was very happy with the process and the results. I highly recommend Luxe as a stylist!! Note that the preferred method of payment here is cash. Booking an appointment is also highly recommended.

I booked an appointment for a haircut and straightening perm just for my bangs. Booking online was easy and I was easily able to find a time that worked for me. I was immediately greeted upon arriving at the salon right at my appointment time. Check-in was very quick. Mai was great at making recommendations based on my hairline, what I wanted it to look like, how I usually style my hair, etc. We ultimately decided to not do the perm due to a number of factors. I liked the fact that she didn’t pressure me to go through with it, and just because I initially wanted it, she educated me on why she wouldn’t recommend it. My favourite part about getting a haircut anywhere is the shampoo part. Mai was very gentle yet thorough while shampooing my scalp, and checked in to ensure the water wasn’t too hot. She asked my opinion on every step she took and gave me exactly what I wanted! Total was $65 plus taxes, which I find to be very fair pricing. She is absolutely worth the 40 minute drive from Mississauga. :

I have only had 2 haircut experiences that I have been fully happy with in my entire life, and the latest one was with Mai. I absolutely love how she fully listens to what you want and communicates with you through out the time you are receiving your haircut. She took her time to go through my hair in sections multiple times to assure everything is perfect. Also, she is very very gentle. I barely felt her hand, comb or scissors through my hair! Mai was the one who cut my hair this past weekend. I went there because my wife made me after Mai cut her hair about a month ago. : Overall, the experience was very good. The place was very clean and bright and Mai was a true professional. She gave me tips on how to style it and what kind of cut would work for my head shape. When I came for a quick cut last month, the staff provided a high-quality service — like they always do, making me leave with the biggest smile ever on my face! I was very satisfied with the whole process and it felt totally like a blast! I also had an enjoyable conversation with my stylist, Hiroki Sakai, who gave me such a cool summer cut! It was undoubted the best haircut for me and I look forward to my next visit!

My boyfriend and I both go here for our haircuts. I had my hair cut by Mai and had a great experience & hair cut! She's very sweet and attentive to what you want for your hair and will also provide suggestions based on your hair condition, facial structure, and how you usually style your hair. She's very efficient and gentle with washing and cutting. I came in with hair down to my hips and it took about an hour for my wash and cut. I've previously experienced hairdressers who wanted to do everything quickly and were rougher with washing and cutting, especially when you come in with longer hair

It's a real Japanese salon in Toronto! I got my hair done from Mai. She weighed on consultation so much, before she start the hair cut, in order for me/her not to regret later for the result. She listens to my needs with super detailed care... and I was so happy with the result! If someone who wants the hairdresser to do the decent consultation... I highly recommend this place! The best place to get a digital perm in the Toronto area. I got a cut, hair wash, digital perm, and style with Mai. She was very professional and detailed, and made sure that the results were exactly what I wanted. Very good customer service as well. The salon was bright, clean, and modern. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a high quality salon with reasonable prices.

I’ve been going to this salon since 2018 and will never go anywhere else ever again. Kanako is the most amazing hairstylist I have ever had!! She cuts my hair exactly how I want it every single time and is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met! All of the staff are super friendly and professional as well.
