We reserved a minivan to the airport the night before. At the reserved time early the next morning, our taxi wasn’t there. When I called to check, they confirmed that they had my reservation but didn’t have a car. Closest one was 15 minutes away and going to be 20 minutes after the original reservation. We canceled and took a different service on demand. It seems like they didn’t look for our car until the time it was expected, and the reservation was meaningless.
A Taxi Diamond cab was behind me at an intersection where the two lanes converged due to construction. The cab tried to cut me off and when I didn't allow him, he told me to pull over so he could fight me. I refused so he tailed me for half an hour, continuously threatening me. I called Taxi Diamond to report the issue, but they said they couldn't do anything without his plate number. It's ridiculous that you don't have a better way of tracing it, the only way I would have his plate number is if I was behind him. In summary, I suggest taking a different cab company where the drivers are more professional, and the company can actually do something if you have an unfortunate experience.
Used the automated phone system to call a taxi. Received a call back from a driver who said he’d be here to pick me up in 10 minutes. I was texted a link to follow his progress but saw the driver was heading away from my location. Shortly after the driver disappeared from the map. I then got a call from another driver a few minutes later who said he’d be here in about 8 minutes. He asked for my destination and when I provided it he promptly hung up. I received another text with a gps tracking link and saw the car wasn’t moving. A few minutes later this driver disappeared as well. I then got a third text advising me my request was cancelled and to call back or download the “Téo” app to request a ride. After losing 30 minutes I gave up and took my car. Don’t waste your time and use another company if you can.
Use another taxi service... I've been a taxi diamond customer for almost 20 years but never again. When calling to reserve the taxi around midnight to go to the airport, there were no representatives, only an automated service. No matter how many times I tried repeating my address, the automated system couldn't get it. I then setup the app, and tried reserving there. The price quoted there was significantly higher than what I've paid in the past. It kept searching but couldn't find a driver. Eventually I received a text that a driver was found, however in the app it was still searching. Did I ever have a driver? Who knows. I cancelled the pending search and used a different taxi service. P.S. to the customer support answering the negative reviews, I'm not interested in talking to a supervisor, there's more than enough information here for the company to fix its mess.
From YUL to a residential area in Montreal. On entering the taxi, the driver did NOT advise my wife or I that he would not accept a credit or debit card for payment. Arriving at our destination he insisted he did not have the means to accept a credit card debit card and we would have to pay in cash. We managed to scrape together the amount of $42.00 for the fare. We took note of the vehicle plate and will report this to the Taxi Complaints Board. We have used Diamond services four times this week, but will NOT use them again.Service: Limousines
got a very terrible experience...I always take a taxi from airport to home, and i know well it takes 20 dollars. however that day the driver got to the wrong way and asked 48 dollars...whats worse, he told me cash only, and wont let me take my luggage until I pay $48.. I told him i dont have that much cash, finally he said i can use credit card... after paid $48 by credit card, i was told no receipt...so I even cannot reimburse this crazy 48 dollars from my company...the worst trip ever, I should call the police
Auto answering machine was never able to find my address. Called them more than 10 times. when the machine can’t find the address, they just give up and hang up. Not even trying to transfer to someone. Just tried to get a normal cab. Good example that some technology can’t replace the human. such a useless cab company. Never use them.
Book online and left a message on there service for someone to go up and pick up a suitcase. Well they sent an older gentleman and he never knew or gotten the message he had to go up and get the suitcase. It was a good thing he had my cell number to call to see if I was ready.
Ordered a taxi through their web site. Sixteen text messages telling me a taxi was on the way, then a text saying my request was cancelled. So many texts my phone classified their texts as spam. Waited over an hour. Someone else at the same pickup location got a cab from the same company within 15 minutes of their request. Dispatcher blamed the software they used, then hung up. Will never use again. Hope Uber drives them out of business, literally and figuratively. Edit: sent an email as per their request. Recieved an automated response thanking me for contacting them, but no follow up as per their response to the review. I guess the entire office is automated, since they post the same response to every negative review. Even their automated responses fail to deliver. I think in this case, the reliance in technology has gone too far. If I hadn't spoken to someone who claimed to be a dispatcher, I would question whether there was a human being working in that office at all. Instead, I'm left with the impression that there is someone there, but they just pretend to care to offset the mass of negative reviews this company seems to collect.
The driver that took the call, never actually came to get me. I recieved a text message to follow him on the gps, and , so i whatched the driver parc at a street corner, and stay there, in stead of comming to pick me up. So i eventually called another taxi company, who actually came to pick me up in a reasonnable delai.
