Tawas City Shoreline Park

I really like how the down town shops are right across the street from the lake! It is a very beautiful place. The pictures with the boat sail support sticking out of the water is from a nice size sailboat, with a cabin that sank right next to the pier and has been there for almost a year. The owner sailed from Chicago, let it sink, and now the city is having problems locating him,

This is my very favorite beach in Michigan. The beach itself and the park are very well maintained. Tony's Tacos right on the beach is great food. And the water is amazing! It's beautiful, and shallow enough for kids for quite a ways out.

This is a nice park with a pier, playground, and clean changing stations. Also has a snack shop in the middle in case you need food or drink while there. Good beach to relax on.

It was easy in and out, very clean, the bathrooms were brand new, also a cute small and new playground for kids id say 3-11ish. We're home and talked about going back again another time. Also while there you have to try Tony's tacos!! So delicious

Great place, Great beach, playground and peir. Even a taco shop on the beach. One issue is that on the peir a todler can easily fall through the barriers. There is also a dangerus issue with the playground that makes the slides dangerus whrn you have shoes on.

I seriously miss that park since I moved to go to college. They added a music part, which is absolutely amazing. They fixed the boars walk a year ago or so and now the board walk is beautiful. The beach is very nice, I love the grass there. And the trees are climbable and the park there is always being enjoyed by kids.

What a clean, beautiful park! The beach on Lake Huron is right there along with a lovely new pier, public docks, dog beach, changing/bathrooms, Tony's Tacos stand and lots of free parking! It's everything you want for a day trip. We went 4 days in a row, never got bored, lots of friendly locals too. Many shops and restaurants within walking distance. You gotta get there!!

We have such great memories of this place. We miss the concrete sculptures but understand why they were removed. The new bathrooms are wonderful. The beach is maintained every day during the summer!

Keeps getting better every year! Clean and fun place to bring the kids. They have neat instruments people of any age can play on. Pavillion for parties, handicap accessible and friendly swing. Bathrooms. Pier out on the water with binoculars. Mexican food available on park property. Closed for winter season.

The okay structure is super nice. And also very different and unique with the musical part. The location is beautiful. Lots of room from the parking to the picnic hall. A geocache near by. Five stars easily despite a lack of shade on the okay structure.
