Great place to shop if your Portuguese. Products from Portugal, average pricing. Run by a family focused on greed. Mis-treat staff, no morals towards customers. Shop there if I have to, not by choice.
It was very busy due to the proximity of Christmas. My mistake deciding to go there. Things were not very clean inside specially around the salted cod fish area due to the amount of people inside. In the parking lot someone rushing and being rude took my parking spot as I waited to get in. Anyway, I understand the season, but it is crazy and I vouched not going there again in times such as these.
Excellent grocery place with a bbq wing for ready made meals. They carry plenty of portuguese products, plenty of european cheeses, fresh meat, deli meat, fresh seafood and more importantly, frozen Queen Margharita pizzas! What a delightful place. The prices are also competitive with other local supermarkets, and they are staffed with a friendly and helpful team.
The store is still very good, but the bbq place is just so-so. No prices at all, which shouldn’t be allowed. The chickens are now tiny, and the one I got was really dry. Even the periperi sauce is watery, and some of the potatoes weren’t completely cooked. Need some quality control so that it’s as good as it used to be.
Fresh fish, meats and a good selection of cheese. Service is excellent. Location is accessible via the Lovely St Clair Street Car that allows a longer transfer...
Really good Portuguese supermarket. Yes, it is more expansive than others but there are some things you only can find there like frozen coxinhas chicken balls. The place is clean and organized. Nice place also for Brazilians to do their groceries.
Love Tavora! Prices are great, employees are awesome and welcoming. Just wish they had more parking for those busy days but it’s worth it!!
Great place to find Brazilian and Portuguese products/produce. The only comment is that more often than not, items are missing price tags so you need to bring it to the cashier to find out prices of certain things.
I love this place as can find pretty much anything Portuguese food related. Everyone speaks English so not a problem for non Portuguese speaking. They have an awesome selection of fresh fish and meats along with free parking and a cool little grilled foods section if you'd like a taste of Portuguese cuisine. Try it. Trust me you won't be disappointed.
The workers at the cashiers are very unpleasant. They're also very loud and unprofessional. It's like they're doing you a favor by checking out your groceries. I absolutely despise going to this store, I only go there if I can't find what I need in any other place.
