Tasty Pizza

I eat a lot of pizza. This is easily the most consistent and best pizza in Cole Harbour, possibly all of Dartmouth. Excluding the wood fired pizza here in HRM, easily top three in Halifax. Donairs are also excellent. NOTE: When Dave sold Tasty, there was a “short lived” dip in quality while the new owners adjusted, and now it’s quite possibly better then ever. Dave, good job passing the torch. Took an adjustment no surprise but Tasty is back and better then ever…well…at least as good…Dave ;

We referred to Tasty’s website before phoning in our order, an XL Pizza. Upon delivery, the price was $8 more not including tax or tip than listed on their website. There was no delivery charge, and we tipped on top of the total. I called afterwards to inquire about the price difference. The employee I spoke with said there had been a change in ownership, and two websites exist however I went back and looked online and could only find the one website we used. He said the price changed under new ownership. When I asked why we weren’t advised of the price change/given the price of the pizza he said, “well you didn’t ask dear” with incredible condescension. He became very rude at that point. I told him I wasn’t looking for a price adjustment, just to understand why the discrepancy. To that end, even with the new price of the pizza, the amount we were charged was still over $2 more. I told him he’s just lost a customer and will likely lose more, to which he replied very aggressively “”How am I going to lose more customers”. I love to support local businesses; I think it’s important and helps create a sense of community. However if business owners treat customers this way they are not worthy of our patronage. This is why I took the time to write this review.

Didn't even get past taking my order. The woman who answered the phone was rude. I asked for sweet sauce on my Canadian classic pizza, as they usually have on them and I was told I'd have to pay extra for the sweet sauce. I just hung up. Don't bother ordering from a place that tries to scam you for a different kind of pizza sauce lol it's pizza sauce, not anything extra.

Pizza was excellent donairs were spicy if you like a lot of spice. Garlic bread with bacon was excellent. Lots of cheese on the pizza which we like.Food: 5/5

My go to ALWAYS!! Best pizza in metro IMO. Fast friendly service even after the new ownership.

Update: when the new owners first came, we were disappointed and told them so. Interacted with them. A few months later and it's Feb 2023. Pizza is again amazing. Garlic fingers are great again. Donair egg rolls, yay!!! Yes, the price are higher but where aren't they?? Their bills are higher, too. Glad to order from you frequently. Still miss Dave and family! Enjoying Tasty Pizza again! Super friendly people! Always wanted to hear how they did and what they could do better!! Great pizza, yummy donairs, super friendly people. The best!!!! Parking: Tight spot but always room!!

Tasty Pizza was good before and the new owners are just as good. We only order from them donairs,fish & chips, pizza,onion rings. Last Friday night we were going to our camp early excited to pickup supper they weren't open I called them & asked when they would be open. 3:00 I told her we were in the parking lot and we would wait till 3. No she said we will start it right now. They could of made us wait.Best customer service! They took our order and provided another great meal. Thank you Tasty Pizza

It's local pizza in cole harbour. The nachos are amazing and I hope they continue to load them up.

Tasty pizza is still the best in town. Donairs have even improved lately! New owners are keeping the standards up! Nice!

We have been ordering from Tasty Pizza- Dartmouth for over a year and there was never a problem having our orders delivered to our address. We even tip extra because we know it sometimes could be out of the way for the driver. However, just now when I called, I was told that they did not deliver in my area. Not impressed!
