First time here and all I can say is wow!! The food was so good and the portion was huge. I got the crispy chicken poutine and it was so big... I give this place 5 stars

Delicious poutine, burgers, Kawartha Dairy ice cream etc. Arrived at closing time and discovered they only take cash. They let me run to the bank while they made my poutine. Awesome people, great food, cute little place right by the locks.

It was our first time in Lindsay. Super friendly couple who runs the place. Ordered the medium fries and onion rings for a snack. The onion rings were good. The fries were good as well. The portion of fries were generous. Couldn’t finish them and had to take them home. Would definitely come back to try the rest of the food.

Absolute best chip truck in the Kawartha! I've been going here for over 10 years and have never left with a complaint. Their fries and poutine are my favourite! In past years they did a delicious cherry slushie that I loved to get every chance I could. If you haven't tried it yet, definitely worth a stop. Close to the locks/water/picnic area. Easy parking and amazing friendly owners!

Excellent poutine. It's getting to be on the expensive side but still great. Could use a bit more gravy as about 1/4 of it had no gravy even after trying to stir it. But flavor and crisp on fries was still on point.

Have tried to go get food from the Tastee Shack twice in the last two week each time they have been closed when the Google search has said they are open. I realize I shouldn't trust Google for hours of places but maybe change your hours of operation on Google or post a picture of your hours so people actually don't waste time and money going to the other side of town just to have to drive back for something else. Lost $28 and a good review. Loved this place when I tried it a couple times. Not going to make and $$$ if your never open. Gave a 2 star bc the food was good when I could actually buy some. Please post your actual hours!

We have had fries twice in the last couple of weeks, terrible. Just end pieces and fried way too much. Very disappointing as they used to have great fries. Wouldn't recommend the fries

Stopped by to get some lunch and I was amazed by the quality and quantity of food you got. We ordered a specialty poutine and fries. We had so much food we had to save some for later. The poutine was full of curds and the gravy was delicious. Will be back again. Bonus is you get a nice view of the river while eating lunch.
