One of our favorite go to places when we come to Toronto for a visit. We always come for the fresh ceviche only available on Saturday and Sunday but worth it. The picture does not do the taste justice for how good it is. Refreshing on a hot day, we always get one to go for our Sunday travels home. We will be back for more!
Ceviche was authentic and delicious. The Owner there was so kind and sweet. The fish was fresh and the plate was so beautifully plated perfectly for pictures. The patio was simple and small so it’s good for when you’re just with a friend. Recommend!!Recommended dishesCeviche Mixto, Ceviche De Pescado
This is our second time sitting here at the two window seats at the restaurant, we came back for the ceviche because it is INSANELY GOOD and super fresh! We wanted to try something else from Sunday menu so we went for the Arroz con pollo, it was definitely a new & unique flavour and a great portion. We also got two empanadas “Spinach Feta & beef” to go because they were selling out like hot cakes! My only con would be that every time we went we paid a different price and they don’t give you a receipt for each item just a receipt of your total, which doesn’t add up to the prices on the board, but it’s a lovely lady doing all the work herself so I just consider it a tip because I would have tipped anyway. We got the ceviche, Arroz con Pollo & 2 empanadas to go and our total came at 45$
I had the weekend ceviche special and it was delicious. Definitely a different take on the classic ceviche with the added fresh ginger. I was happy to try this fresh snack.
Kensington Market is a great Neighborhood for a little Latino Heat of this fine Peruvian Food Crusine, that has one of the best Cajun spice menus the facility offers. It can be hot with very unique flavor. So check them out while touring Hippie Style view
The woman who served this beautiful plate of ceviche was such a lovely sweet human. I felt like I was being fed by my own family. The ceviche was so well plated that I felt bad eating it. Such a sweet little place.
I am a ceviche lover. I have to say this is one the best and more authentic ceviches I have had in a long time. Same for the rest of the food. Be aware that the space is minimal, but you will experience authentic Peruvian culture and gastronomy.
The shop owner is a very sweet lady, happy to help you choose and explain about various empanadas and other dishes they have. A bit pricey in my opinion, but the taste is amazing. Highly recommend their tamale and chicken empanadas!Food: 5/5
The food was phenomenal and so fresh!!! It literally melts in your mouth. Staff were very kind and helpful! Can't wait to visit again.
Very quaint location that serves Peruvian food with exceptionally friendly staff. Great empanadas and some of the best ceviche I’ve ever had note: they only serve ceviche on the weekend. Not a lot of seating room, so it’s a great option if you want to get some take out or walk to the local park to eat. Edit: reducing to 3 stars. Food is still great but service is not. A few times we’ve had to wait 45-60 minutes for takeout food orders after being told “10 minutes,” and they’ve completely forgot our orders multiple times despite already paying.
