Cheap and delicious! This place has so many dishes to try. I've been coming here once or twice a week for almost a year and have never been disappointed. Their prices include tax so it's easier to calculate how much you have to pay. Also, it's one of the very few restaurants I know that still have a good lunch for under $6 with a drink soy milk or tea. When you go up a dollar to $7, the menu expands to another 40-50 dishes. No wonder this place is the busiest in this cafeteria style food court! Most people call in their orders and pick up later. When you see no one in front of the restaurant and can't understand why the dish you just ordered is taking so long, please know that there could be many orders ahead of yours for this reason. Most orders I've seen have between 2-5 dishes. The staff have their own lunch around 2:30 pm so expect a 15-20 minute wait around that time. They also have the red hot sauce that I like, which I squeeze all over my food - yeah I like it spicy. The noodle dishes here are average and a bit oily, and I prefer rice dishes, so I don't normally order noodles here. I do like their beef fried rice noodles, but only once in a while. There's plenty of seating - I think it can hold about 80-100 people in the eating area, and it usually clears fast. The parking lot is pretty big too so no worries about finding a parking spot. If you're craving some cheap, tasty Chinese food, this is the place to go! Vegetarian options: Several all-veggie dishes in their menu Parking: Always spots available even when it's busy Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramps and automatic double doors make this place accessible
I believe they changed chefs. Foods not that great anymore. The chicken was dry, the lotus root with preserved meats was only sausage and was tasteless. Wouldn’t come back again.
The prices is inexpensive. The food is delicious.
Can't beat this $5 including tax lunch special! Ordered Fried Noodles with beef, comes with a mountain of noodles and soy milk or soup! Good wok-hei flavour
Good food great value. Gets very busy at times may need to wait for 10-15 minutes Update Sept 2022 price increased a bit but quality of the food is still as good as before. It's my go-to for take out food when I'm in the area.
I ordered a special personalized dish - Balachan seafood fried ho fun - which the chef was willing to obliged. It turns out flavourful with the wok hay although not spicy enough. The price was upped at $12.
Delicious Paradise Kitchen has been one of my go-to spots for quick and simple mean throughout the past year of COVID-19. They have always been reliable for their great wok-hei flavours in all of their reasonably priced fried rice and noodle specials, ranging from $3,99 to $7.99, depending on what you order. I have tried several dishes from their menu and I highly suggest their Satay Chicken Fried Rice. It's a nice alternative to the classic Yeung Chow Fried Rice with the hint of satay sauce highlighting the tender pieces of chicken breast in the fried rice. Their fried noodles are very decent for the price and quality. Whether it's the Fried Rice Noodles with Beef in Soy Sauce or Cantonese Chow Mein, you are going to get decent quality for economical prices. If you're ordering for takeout, I highly recommend calling ahead especially during the weekends! They can get quite busy during the lunch hour and there may be a long wait inside the food court if you order at the counter. Also, if you're a frequent customer, I suggest purchasing their VIP Card which takes off the taxes from your overall bill!
good food good price but limited selection.
Delicious food with speedy and friendly service! Wonderful bang for your buck and their specialty for the winter is lamb with gravy on rice which helps you brace for the cold outdoors. They have so many options to choose and if you're not feeling rice you can switch them with noodles My personal go to is beef with sauce on chow mein. It is Crispy, saucy, and packed with beef Chinese cuisine that is fast, friendly, and with great pricing
Good food and good price.
