Frequented bakery over the last few years for pastries and coffee. Had the white chocolate lemon olive oil latte the other day it was one of the best lattes I've had. So good. Breads and sweets are good too.
Best coffee in Northampton. It used to have a supported amicable energy. Unfortunately, I can tell the workers although always very helpful/sweet are being overworked. I often go in nowadays to see one person doing the job of three people. I hope management gets their act together and creates a better work environment. Delicious cookies.
We got an almond croissant, pan de chocolate, and some bread thing with ham and cheese. They were wonderful except for the ham and cheese - there was almost no ham and cheese in it. It was all bread, and some parts of the bread were uncooked. VERY disappointed. Stick with the croissants those were great!
Cozy inside and friendly staff. Can't speak to the drinks but the pastries are very overpriced and low quality. Spent $8 on a tart a few days ago only to discover that it was completely burned on the bottom. The charcoal flavor had infected the entire tart and we were unable to enjoy even the filling or fruit on top. We had also purchased two tiny, stale cupcakes for over $3 each. Unfortunately, we won't be back, even though we are in NoHo every other week and would have been frequent flyers had any of the treats been edible.
They offer coffee and tea drinks, fresh baked bread, pastries, pre-made lunch sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, cakes, and cookies. The cupcakes were dense with a very sweet buttercream frosting. Both of my children didn't like them, and finished less than half. The bread pastries were great. They were very delicate, buttery and crispy. Overall I mostly liked what Tart Baking Co had to offer, but the prices left a bad taste in my mouth. It's a small business with big prices compared to other bakeries in the area.
I popped in here for a treat on my way back to Springfield after an appointment. I couldn't have been happier. I had the apple and honey bread pudding and it was incredible. Great texture, wonderful flavor, and so good. Cant wait to swing by again next month.
Service is very hit-or-miss. Apparently, lots of staff turnover means inconsistent coffee drinks. $16+ with tip for a mocha, a latte, and one cookie.
OMG amazing baked goods!! These are without a doubt the best croissants I've had in the US. I have to assume somebody got some serious training in French or European bakery skills because this place really nailed that perfect crusty texture and flavor. I also got some espresso which was a nice medium roast and had a full body. Tastefully decorated and super friendly service.
The best ham and cheese croissant ever! My son and I both fight for them every time. He always wants 2 for himself, and often there are only two left, and he tries to steal mine every time. These are so buttery, mouth-watering flakey deliciousness with the cheese and ham just amazing. You wish they were bigger and sold in bulk!
Consistently high quality and good variety of delicious baked goods in the french style. Croissants are SUPER buttery. Nice emphasis on local ingredients.
