Well I was told best Indian place in Barrie...When you can not compare to anything else I guess you can say best. My experience though was not. I had ordered for take out. First this was not worth the price, food was mediocre. The Samosas felt as though they were cooked in a thin filo pastry and felt very oily. The Butter chicken was meh, lacking any real flavor filled with so much shredded coconut, I had to strain it and make another butter chicken with it. The beef was the only good thing and the naan. When my order came they packed my steamed rice under the curry beef so all the oils from the beef dripped into the steamed rice container soaking the rice in oil. So I had to make rice on the stove. I have tried 3 indian places in Barrie...I am done. This is my experience, others like this place. I say aim for a more multi cultured metropolitan with better indian food.

The value and quality for the cost is outstanding, not to mention the service is attentive and prompt. The buffet at lunch during the week is excellent, you should be satisfied if you appreciate the staples: butter chicken, curry chicken, beef bhoona curried chicken peas, rice and the like. It's my go to Indian restaurant in Barrie.

Ignore the bad reviews. Seriously amazing food, great ambiance and friendly servers. A little pricier than other options for sure but not unreasonable for the amount and quality of the food!
