I would like to start of by saying that the food was incredible! Tastes exactly like someone’s mom had made it and based on the staff I could see I’m pretty sure that’s the case. The nihari was full of flavours, more than usual. Buttery tender meat and the paaya was also phenomenal. The naan and keema naan were probably one of the best I’ve ever had, fresh out of the tandoor. That being said the service was utter disappointment. The gentleman sitting at the counter, not sure owner or employee had zero care about his surroundings. Waited at the counter for about 5 minutes for him to finish his phone calldid not sound important at all. And he didn’t even acknowledge me standing there. He took his sweet time to finish and then casually took the order. So it’s understandable that despite having amazing food why the restaurant was dead and reviews aren’t great. Still I’d recommend going there just for the food and overlook the service, it’s definitely worth it.
Great place to eat traditional Pakistani food great portions and extremely fresh out of the kitchen. All the food was super hot and nice naan. Definitely a little too oily for me. Nice chai and lassi. Ahmad was super helpful and funny he took great care of us, will definitely come back to meet him.
First time to this place, was looking for Nihari and google showed Tandoori host as one Option. I was looking for Pakistani taste. Ordered Nihari, Paiy, Haleem and Channa on the chef’s choice. Fully satisfied with the taste and crispy naans. I will surely recommend it for trying Pakistani taste.
Family run Pakistani restaurant serving freshly cooked food at reasonable prices from a friendly, passionate and confident owner. As a pescatarian, my options were more limited, yet I was not disappointed by the Lahore channa served here that was spicy and extremely flavourful. A bonus was the fluffy naan served with it. Looking forward to trying their Biryani and other dishes soon.
I took couple of times food from Tanddori Host at this location . But today got very bad experience , food was very cold when open at home. Whatever I am thinking , some one cancelled the Halwa puri and they just handed over me. This all my activity happened , firstly ordered on phone and pickup right-away. Recommendation: Try to avoid on phone , just go there and order and wait is better , either on phone and request them , please give fresh.
Overall the food was good and their prices are reasonable...the naan was fresh and the Biryani was on point but I found the pudding and mango shake to be too sweet for my taste. I'll definitely go back and try other thing on the menu.
Dropped by Tandoori Host when our preferred curry shop nearby closed for reno. This family restaurant had quite a tandoori oven scent. But it was surprising they didn't bother picking up the finished plates from an empty table the whole time that I was there. Ordered the beef nihari and butter chicken, along with naan bread. I was told the order would take 10-15 minutes and waited probably 25-30 minutes as they fired up the kitchen. At least it gave me time to visit the nearby convenience store to pickup samosas as they suggested. The dishes tasted flavorful with actual tandoori chicken in the butter chicken. The curry themselves were runny, both were equally hot though we asked for spicy in one and non-spicy in the other, and the meat portion was somewhat sparse. Also funny was that they told me the naan could be buttered, so I reaffirmed that it'd be buttered upon takeout, and of course it was not! Annoying because the handmade naan just tasted dry and plain.
Great place to eat. Beats the competition by far. The naan is the perfect mixture of soft and crispy. The blend of spices in the butter chicken is simply divine and the service is impeccable. A must try for anyone.
Decided to go for Halwa Puri at Tandoori Host. Loved their quick service and Halwa Puri was perfect. Doodh Patti chains a must if you try this place Vegetarian options: Sweets, Halwa Puri, chai, daal, palak
Very good spot and fair pricing. Spices are more subtle than its competitor "tandoori time" across the same plaza which makes it easier to enjoy for the people that eat Indian once in a while without consequences lol Their butter chicken is very good, Chana masala is a nice and silky curry with fair amount of chickpeas, and the biryani is spot on with spice and aroma!
