Great place for rotis, esp. the chicken korma wrap, was delicious. They just need to clean the meat better. I had a piece of bone. Also might help if cut into smaller pieces to cook well. Some pieces were little chewy uncooked. I've had it before and didn't have these issues.
Blown away by how flavourful their lamb roti was. I had tried a similar roti in Windsor and was utterly disappointed by how flavourless their’s was but My Roti has some of the most flavourful food I’ve had. Sadly their South Indian food wasn’t up to mark. Vada was dry and didn’t look or taste like the authentic ones we’re used to. Sambar was also a very diluted version which I didn’t enjoy.
Totally blown away with the first bite! Honestly, I was not expecting such a burst of complex flavors from a take out restaurant. I ordered the curry chicken roti medium spicy hot. The tender roti pulled apart gently and there was no tug of war. Thin enough to wrap and thick enough not to tear apart and loose it's contents. The juicy boneless chicken sauce was thick and not runny. As for the taste, it's complexity defies any description that would do it justice. It's one of those things one must experience. This restaurant has about 20 eat in seats and has a very brisk take out clientele. Moral of the story is that one can find exquisite and the most humble of places. Check it out. You will not be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options
This place was recommended to us by friends. We got takeout - street samosa chaat, honey garlic cauliflower, chicken dum biryani, classic roti with chicken and superior butter masala and a lamb kheema roti. The restaurant also gave us free gulab jamuns, which was great! Service was quick and friendly. The reason they lost a star is because we didn't like the lamb kheema roti and we ordered boneless biryani and got bone-in instead. One thing to note, if you have a medium spice level tolerance, order mild, because their medium is VERY spicy. The positives were that the flavors for most of the items was on point. The samosa chaat was divine, just what you need on a cold winter day. They recommended the honey garlic cauliflower which was delicious. The biryani had a mild flavor which was good. The chicken with the superior butter masala was good but too spicy for me. I will definitely be back to try other items off their menu.
This is a South Indian’s foodie heaven for soul food! It is literally the best idili sambhar I have ever tasted. Also tasted the samosa chaat and was impressed with the taste. It feels like it took me back to an Udipi Restaurant back in Mumbai and brought me back!
Loved the place, food as well as their staff is also nice. I will definitely recommend this place and a great thumbs up for Avil's special salted buttermilkthat made my day...overall it was great experience
Delicious, crispy dosa with a significant amount of sambar and chutney. The potato was perfect and the lamb vindaloo rice bowl was everything I was craving. Definitely a new favourite Indian restaurant in Vaughan!Food: 5/5
We ordered Paneer bhurji Dosa, chicken curry with roti at sides, madras coffee and chicken dum biryani with both. We were expecting dried paneer bhurji mix in dosa but it was wet with sweet sauce. Chicken curry and roti rumaali roti sort of was okay . They served masala chai instead of coffee by mistake, they didn’t charged us and apologized for that. Now worst part was chicken biryani - even after repeatedly confirming them we want boned chicken dum biryani for takeout they packed boneless chicken biryani. With raved reviews I had lots of expectations but we left dissatisfied and disappointed.
The food is absolutely incredible, my favourite is the the Kale butter chicken roti. The staff is always helpful and courteous.
Loved this place. The food was so good and the portions were big. Prices are not too bad either. I am glad I found them on google. I was craving for Dosa and found them on google. The restaurant owner Tegbir is customer service oriented and he also came to ask for feedback once we were done. He even helped me with providing contacts for some of the vendors for ordering business supplies. He was great at sharing information. Food was great, restaurant ambiance was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place.
