Tan Thanh Supermarket

This was my first time at the store. Initially, there is a very strong odour which I did get used to. I was there to put together a box of assorted items for a gift for my son who has become interested in Japanese culture. There was a man stocking the shelves that was helpful with a couple of questions I had. However, the older lady at the front of the store and the cashier were quite rude. I asked the cashier a question and she mumbled an inaudible answer and just stared at me. I said thank you as I was handed the receipt and the cashier barely acknowledged me. All in all a good experience, just cashing out was not as expected.

Best Asian grocer around! Everything from cheap veggies including hard to find ones, sushi ingredients, delicious snacks, frozen dim sum, and a whole collection of dishware/chopsticks/bamboo steamers etc.

Loved groceries shopping here. They have most of all the asian things you need. Cleaner than the one at Queens and certain things are cheaper than Nation. They are free parking too.

The variety of asian food is great and so much better and fresher than anything on your regular grocery store. I travel from Brantford to Hamilton just to get things that I cant get it home.

Favourite Asian supermarket in the city with super friendly staff. They have a great selection of speciality groceries and snacks. It is clean and well organized, with a small parking lot out front making it very convenient, and is all around a much more pleasant shopping experience than Nations. I highly recommend Tan Thanh.

A good place to buy food, it has many fresh food amd asian food also. You can buy many type of vegetable, meat, beef right here. Also they sold chicken and seafood. They also sold many things like broom, sponges and spice. The only problem is this place is too small, feel so overwhelmed righthere because of crowded sometime.

Lots of varieties in snacks and treats. Do check the best before date and the actually price at check out.

It was getting close to Christmas and I wanted a Stone Bowl as a gift to a vegan relative and found a beauty at Tan Thanh Supermarket! Wow! I love it!

Our go to asain grocer in Hamilton. Incredible selection of items, very well organized and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great place to get some fresh Meat and Fish. Not so great Customer Service. The store is not well organized and looks very crowded with stuff.
