Ottawa Market

The Ottawa Street Farmers Market has always been a great place to go for farm fresh food and craft vendors. During my August visit, I popped into the new Market building. It’s a real treasure of fresh food and unique local products. They have a coffee bar that also features some great cakes/pastries. This is a must visit on your next trip to Ottawa Street.

Thank you Rachael for making our visit so pleasant and relaxing. My wife enjoyed the grilled chicken, brie and cranberry sandwich, and your recommendation of Coffeecology's Cafe Dia blend as an espresso bean worked well at home. Paul, thank you for the phone conversation and recommendation of other local beans to try. That shows honesty and a community spirit that makes us want to come back and support the Ottawa Market. I look forward to trying out the decaf beans you carry for our own evening homemade lattes. If anyone wants to see the Bellwether Zero Exhaust Bean Roaster in action, definitely check this place out. The beans are nicely roasted, no surface oils to be seen or to clog up your home grinders.

I needed one Jalapeño pepper for my dinner recipe so I headed to Ottawa market as they have everything you could need. Only to find that their debit machine was down because of internet problems and I had no cash. They were kind enough to give me my one Jalapeño I needed and called it an act of kindness. Thank-you Ottawa Market for paying it forward my dinner ended up being amazing ! I'll be back for much more then one Jalapeño!

Staff are so amazing. Love being able to refill my detergents here.

I order a vegetable package though too good to go. I know that some items may be bruised and old but mold is unacceptable! I had to throw out the whole box. Waste of money and time.

We got a big box of produce through Too Good to Go for $6.99! Highly recommended

Very cute little market! Wide variety of niche goods from local vendors. A mix of giftables, grocery, coffee/baked goods. Definitely worth a stop in if you’re looking for something special

Once again, I filled the roll as a route driver today for VG Meats and to my absolute delight. I was sent to all three markets starting with this one. I walked in, the first scent to hit me was that boisterous aroma of hand crafted coffee. Followed by the sounds of laughter and conversation. The person that helped me, from beginning to end. Thoughtful, kind and generous with their time. This Market in particular, left quite the impact. To you, I do appreciate the offer of a coffee. That meant something. Thank you.

Friendliest staff and best coffee in the city. Make sure to try the scones and muffins.
