Each batch of Arabica beans is tested to make sure it's good enough for Take Five.Our Master Roaster goes looking for the right beans from origin mills around the world. Only those that pass the test are roasted in small batches. Each batch is roasted to the Taste Profile created by our Sommelier- a balance of the 1500 chemical substances found in good coffee.In other words, we're dealing with Coffee Chemistry. Coffee shop inside of the city hall building but incredibly accessible to the Civic Hotel and the public library! Came in at 8:30 am - was out with my coffee within 5 min. Had the Mocha Zebra coffee and it was well made. Glad I chose to come here over Tim Hortons across the way. Lattes here are done way better.

Burnt sandwich. Iced coffee is hot coffee over ice which immediately melts. You'll get better food and much better value from the public library next door.

Never tried the sandwiches, but the coffee is excellent and the ginger scones are addictive. The staff are friendly and efficient. Evelyn and Christina are great to chat with and I feel like I am visiting good friends each time I stop by.
There are few cafes left that you can go to and feel a huge sense of community. The baristas will take their time to get to know you, ask about your day and memorize your order. The wifi is great and offers a wonderful place to study as the music and over all atmosphere is very welcoming. The coffee and attention to the way drinks are made match the great service. I highly recommend dropping by this hidden gem of downtown surrey.
I frequently come here on my lunch or coffee break and I love it every time. This place have good lunch options and really yummy drinks. The staff are really upbeat and friendly every time I'm there. This is a great place for anyone in the area!
Coffee shop on the ground floor of Surrey City Hall. Drip coffee is bitter and weak 75% of the time. Coffee drinks are acceptable but I've never been blown away by them. Sandwiches, salads, muffins and pastries are standard fare found in any of other coffee shop that isn't a Starbucks. Tolerable if and when it's the only option, but there are better options at Starbucks, Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Blenz, and Starbucks, listed in order of walking distance from City Hall.
