Outstanding service and food! The perfect table was reserved for my business meeting with my client. The Butter Chicken is out of this world! I highly recommend Le Taj for any occasion. Lovely atmosphere, amazing cuisine and service. I'll be happy to continue bring my real estate clients here in the future~

We had a family dinner last night and were quite happy with it. They have good eye for details and despite being a full house, we were served well. Ambient noise was clamorous. They have a broad selection and good food quality. The wait staff could use more training about various wines. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Good meal with good portion. A little bit expensive, but worth the experience. The ambiance was great. It feels like you’re India with the decoration. And also, fast and great service!

Beautiful restaurant with delicious traditional Indian dishes. I loved it and I will definitely go back with my wife. Amazing spot to try! I highly recommend!

Before I share my review, let me state that I have eaten at about 50+ different Indian restaurants. I love the food and the spices/flavors. This evening, I tried Le Taj in Montreal and I can say that it is hands down the best that I have ever had. I came to the restaurant with my family including 4 boys who also love Indian food. The waiter - his name is “Gourmet” - has worked here for 36 years. He was passionate about the place and it showed. Everything we ordered was amazing. We ranked each dish according to our favorite spots and Le Taj came out overall on top. What a great experience! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Montreal.

October 2022 5* One of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal so it is very busy. Make sure to have reservations before going. The staff is very helpful and give us the place without reservations. It was full on Tuesday evening so you can imagine weekends. Had a dinner with local Montreal friend at this place. Here is the food list: - Paneer Masala ***** - Veg korma Curry ***** - Daal soup ***** - Onion Bhajia ***** - Garlic Naan ***** - Rice Pulao ***** The place is fully accessible and nicely decorated. You will feel Indian touch everywhere which is superb. Staff is superb and some of them working at this place for 36 years restaurant is 37 years old so big congratulations to the owner to build an amazing place. Washroom are clean and maintained well.

The Food was good and the service was ok! However, I would appreciate if next time I get to choose the % of tip that I want to give, instead of having you give me my bill with it already included. Food 4/5 Drinks 4/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Place/decoration 4/5 Service 4/5 Value for money 3/5 overpriced

I love Indian cuisine and this place was average. The garlic shrimp appetizer was so full of chopped garlic pieces that I tasted nothing else I love shrimps but didn’t enjoy this dish at all. The other appetizer, Chaat papdi was excellent though. I enjoyed that dish very much. The two main dishes lamb korma and chicken tikka masala were both a little under seasoned and underwhelming. The rice was okay. The garlic naan was perfect not very garlicy. The ambiance and staff were nice but their tables are too small and too close to each other.

Le Taj is amazing Indian cuisine restaurant in Montreal. We didn’t expect such a wonderful quality of service and food to be honest. Ambience of the restaurant is breathtaking. You will feel to be in India moment you walk in. Everyone here was very courteous and smiling. I would definitely recommend following : Vegetarian platter as appetizers and saag panner and tandoori roti for entree. If you are chai fan don’t forget to order one. It’s absolute treat to your taste buds.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in sometime! Amazing food. The lamb Biryani is perfect! The massal Chai is a must have. The service is simply incredible. This is a must visit.
