Taffeta and Tulle Bridal

I couldn't have asked for a better experience shopping for my wedding dress! Marisza was amazing! When we first arrived for the appointment, she was very welcoming and sat down with me to find out details about my wedding (date, venue) and the type of dress I was looking for. There was a good variety of styles available to purchase off the rack, which was important for me as I did not have time to order a dress in. I liked that she brought me into the showroom to look at all the available dresses and choose any gown to try on. The appointment felt relaxed and I appreciated that I never felt pressured in any way by the owner. In the end, I did find "the dress" and it was even under budget with the veil (original budget was $1200). Thank you Marisza for such a great experience! I would definitely recommend this shop.

I tried on about 30 different dresses at different stores with no luck. In less than an hour I found my dress here and had an awesome experience. Great prices and amazing service. If you are looking for a wedding dress come here you will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough good things about Taffeta and Tulle. I went to several other bridal stores before I ended up going here. They had the perfect dress for me at such a great price! The prices were much better than other bridal stores in Calgary. The customer service was amazing. I highly recommend booking an appointment.

This was the first place I went to to try on wedding dresses and Elaine made it an amazing and unforgettable experience! I'm very insecure about how I look in clothes and I generally dislike going clothes shopping. Elaine made me feel very comfortable and relaxed, but also made the experience a fun and personal one. She encouraged me from the start to go with my heart on the dress which I think is the most important thing. I would definitely recommend that any bride go to Taffeta and Tulle!

One of my bridesmaids recommended this place as a few of her friends had bought amazing wedding dresses here for under their budget. It was a very personal experience as we were the only ones in the store and it was locked behind us. Elaine began the session asking for my style preferences, wedding location and date. From there she made her own recommendations, (my wedding is destination) and she suggested minimal fabric on the back since I am planning to wear my hair somewhat down. She gathered an array of one-of-a-kind dresses in my size and helped me into each one. Dress #3 was the lucky one for me! I tried on others after but nothing else compared, I kept thinking about that one dress . And let me mention that I'm not a very decisive person! I had been dress shopping to only one other store prior and believe me in my mind I was only beginning the process. But this dress had everything I was looking for (from my pinterest research) and even more and it fit me pretty close to perfect! I even shed a couple tears-something I never expected to happen as I never cry. It's true when they say "when you know, you know!" Amazingly, it was nearly half what I was expecting to spend on a dress (compared to the first store I went to in Calgary). Elaine also told me that normally my dress sells for more than double her ticket price- I paid $1000 for. Overall, an amazing experience! I was in and out in a hour, completely happy with my purchase and the service I received. Thank you Elaine, you truly made this an unforgettable experience!
