Tacos Juanita Mexican Restaurant

I was quite happy with this place. The food was better than i thought it would be for a cheesy little strip mall Mexican joint. The breakfast menu looked really good. The best part was that the strip mall also has TWO dance studios. One is dancing for Jesus and i presume the other is pagan. If you're lucky enough to get a window seat you'll be entertained by a full "west side story" dance off/knife fight. Those christian dancers are scrappy and they fight dirty!

I am sorry to say I am not a fan any longer. this used to be a great place for tasty Mexican and top notch service. Not sure what happened with the recent changes but quality of food, menu and service have all gotten worse. no offense intended to the staff or owners.

Been going here for 5+ years and loved it. Unable to visit for a year or so, but finally returned recently. Food is still good, though previously large portions now seemed a bit smaller for the combo plate. Margaritas seemed less "authentic" also. (Pre-mix perhaps?) Evidently there has been a change in management. (May account for noted differences.)

This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Eau Claire, period. Having grown up in Texas, I was skeptical of "Mexican" food in Wisconsin. I was fortunate to find this place soon after moving to the area. This is the real deal. Barbacoa as it was meant to be.

Service was good. Choices of street flavor tacos any way you like it is great. Never understand why anyone would over pay for street style tacos at another place. This is authentic Mexican food.
