Tacos El Toro

As the sign says this is authentic Mexican food! It will take a while...but it is well worth the wait... While you're waiting you will be given chips and salsa... If you can't handle heat ask for the green salsa! The flavor of both the red and green salsa is simply amazing. All of us really enjoyed our main course.... If you're having trouble deciding, tacos are always a great choice. If somehow you still think you'll need road snacks stock up on their sweet bread - it's absolutely amazing! The staff is wonderful!

We stopped here to eat on a recent trip, and the food is very authentic, and good. My husband grew up in Belize, on very similar food, and hadn't tasted anything so authentic in Calgary, where we live. It did take about half an hour to get our food, but my husband was perfectly fine with that once he tried his food - he was a very happy man, actually! They could do with some cosmetic renovation, however, especially in the bathrooms. Clean enough, but very very ugly, and pretty easily fixed up, if they just tried.

I eat here on a regular basis and have never been let down. The food is good, the prices are reasonable and they are very friendly.

For what this place lacks in looks it certainly makes up for in delicious, authentic Mexican taste! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for some true authentic Mexican food they do not disappoint.
