Taco N Madre Taqueria Y Cevicheria

During a recent trip to St. Paul, MN, I was so excited to try this place because they have birria tacos. I was so disappointed because the tacos looked amazing, however lacked some flavor. Now the rice and beans were really tasty. The staff was great. Next time I am in MN, I will try something different on the menu.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes

Cute little neighborhood restaurant. They have a ton of things on their menu. It was kind of busy when we went. We ordered our food to go, took about 10-15 minutes for our order to come out. The staff was friendly, and the prices aren't too bad. We got the Mexican Tacos, the Taco Americano, the Burrito bowl and a side of chips and salsa. The food was good, the only bad thing was that they forgot to give us the chips that came with the Burrito bowl which we didn't discover until we were home. Service was great but there was only one person at register and serving at the same time. You have to order then sit at your choice of prefrence in table. Then the food is taken to you. I ordered quesadilla campechana of tripe and Al pastor too greasy The plate was 13.99. My daughter had a King Burger. I also bought salsa and chips also choriqueso and it was delicous. Overall for 5 people with appetizer and drink. I spent $100 its well served. I hope photos can be of any help.

The place was very good, totally found it by accident driving by today. I had the 3 taco combo and my son ordered the 12" Taco Madre on a bed of fries. He loved it but could only eat half of it. Very clean and friendly, helpful staff.

Solid 4.5 stars. Authentic, good value and clean. I will be going back to try more dishes and may end up modifying to 5 stars. I don't like plastic and styrofoam and they rely on both, otherwise 5 stars for me. I'll try to order around that.

Wow. What a find! Right by my house and finally tried it today. Massive portions, good pricing, huge portions, and the food is delicious. I got a chicken burrito and two orders of taco birria. So much food. They have a huge menu as well. I'm excited to keep coming back and trying other things. Friendly staff as well. A must try.

we love this Mexican restaurant! we usually eat in but decided this time to order take-out. The pizza birria is delicious and love that it comes with many sides such as queso, guacamole, and pico de gallo. My only disappointment was with the salchicha fries as it just looked/tasted bland.

I constantly order from Taco N Madre! It is a wonderful family owned business with amazing food and even more amazing staff! We always feel welcome and the atmosphere is great! If you like great Mexican food and karaoke not exactly sure what nights they have karaoke you'll love it! The birria tacos are amazing and the burritos are delicious!

Set up in the old Jerabek's Bakery building providing neighborhood favorite foods. Can't go wrong choosing Taco N Madre - the staff are very friendly and I love the atmosphere here. The food is delicious and the namesake menu item is quite a large portion. Eating outside is a lot of fun and very comfortable.

Went here with my family and I ordered buffalo chicken wings and my mom ordered tacos. My wings weren't temp hot or even fresh, my mom's tacos were burnt and we told the guy at the front counter and he told us not to come back. I have ordered the same thing from here before and had no problems. He was very rude to us and when I told him he didn't have to be rude he told me to shhh and never come back. I would not recommend this place. He never offered to remake it. Just gave us our money back and repeatedly said don't come back. I only gave one star because it wouldn't let you post without it.
