Not satisfied with drive through at all. Everytime I would say an item on the menu, the guy would rush me by saying okay is that all right away. I ordered a lot of food but felt rushed while ordering. Parked to eat food and there were no napkins in bag. Tried to go into store to get some only to find the door locked. Not going to wait again in drive through so went without. Very dissatisfied with the service
Spent 10 minutes waiting in the drive thru just for the person in front of us to be helped. The girl taking our order must have been new or just really bad at her job because she wasn't doing well. When I asked for 2 tacos, supreme, another employee interrupted over the speaker to say "we don't have anything called supreme here" so I explained I wanted it with all the regular toppings then. Then she asked what toppings I wanted, like it's not right there on the menu. After I got done explaining I wanted tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream and cheese, all seemed okay. Then I waited another 10 minutes for the food to be made, and when they gave me my food, I was missing half of my order. They also put ice in the drink I specifically asked for no ice in. I went back in to get the food, and the people behind the counter were rude when I told them they forgot some of my food. They wouldn't come to the counter to talk to me, so I had to shout to be heard. When I told them I was missing food, they acted like I was in the wrong, and said "see, your food is right here!" And my tacos were sitting on a stack of trays in the kitchen. When I finally got my tacos, they were 90% tomatoes and 10% everything else. This is the second time I've had a negative experience here, I think everyone would be better off going to a different taco johns location or perhaps even a taco bell.
We just drove in from MN and were starving, there were 2 teenagers working and it was busy, they were so nice and efficient!!! A 3rd worker showed up and they rocked it out with smiles. Our food was tasty and fresh. Thank you so much for the great service and food!!! The kids that were working on that Sunday night were awesome.Food: 5/5
Drive-thru lady was rude the entire time during my order. She said I was talking way too fast and told me to start my order all the way from the beginning. First of all, I didn’t even talk that fast. Have ordered many times at other Taco John locations just fine. Secondly, it would’ve been a non issue if she had asked me nicer to repeat myself but she did it with such terrible attitude like she hated her job. I decided to just drive off without paying. If customer service is this bad then I can’t imagine how much worse the food is. Sounds like it’s pretty bad just by looking at the other reviews. Take your money and business elsewhere.
I ordered a 6 pack and a pound. After waiting roughly 7 minutes t order, mind you there was 2 car ahead of me. After I paid I was asked to pull up front to wait for fresh tots. I did, imagining it would take 3-5 minutes. I sat there for roughly 10-15 minutes. Now if they were understaffed I get it, yet I question if I will eat here again. This isn't my 1st issue, nor my second at this establishment. After my 3rd incident, I am finally writing a review. I think management and training could help this issue. I also understand we have a Lazy work force now days and Good help is hard to find.
Was there today at 7pm. Rudest cashier I've seen in a long time. Customer in front of me got the wrong order, she was rude to him. When I asked if there was sour cream paid extra she rolled her eyes n replied, yes. Guess what, no sour cream. Food was nasty. Never going there again
We came here after 9:00 p.m. when most places are closed or the employees have already checked out. The staff was friendly, our food was tasty, and we were very happy that we stopped there. The staff even wished us a good night and thanked us for coming in as we left.Food: 5/5
Taco John's is a favorite but my last visit was terrible. I spent 61.00 on food for 5 people they gave me all of my food stuffed into one bag except 2 potatoes so all of my food was smashed and shells broken. 4 of the tacos or whatever where not mine. They forgot some of my food and I waited over 20 minutes so half of my food was cold. I don't think I got a receipt so I can't go back and ask for a complete refund for the garbage because thats where most of the food went. What they did offer was a small combo and 2 chirros.
I can see why this place is never busy. Service is terrible and the food is sub par at best. Regardless if you go through the drive-through or into the restaurant employees will ignore you and continue to talk amongst themselves. Only 'gracing' you with service. Once the conversation has ended. And then roll their eyes and scoff when you try to order something. Then give you something that looks like they pulled it out of the microwave. Do yourself a favor. Go to the Taco Bell across the street. The food's better and a lot more reasonably priced. Plus, you don't have to go on the entire block to get out.
Location was a little busy and they were short staffed, but the associates really worked their tails off to stay caught up and provide great customer service. While finishing up a very rude customer came in and demanded to speak to the manager. The gentleman manager conducted himself very professionally to the extremely rude customer who cursed and yelled at him. I am sorry that he had to deal with that customer, but he handled it very well. Having formerly worked in retail it is very hard to deal with upset customers that are screaming and yelling at you. I was very impressed. Food was darn good too!
