Taco Del Mar

Amazing food, super fresh and processed are reasonable. They have daily specials like the Thursday taco salad shown in the photo below that was $7.00 and for this whole meal it came out to $19 and change. Friendly service clean and nice environment to eat. Inside and out door seating. Restrooms inside they make your food in front of you as you order like a chipotle would and put what you want in it.

Food is soggy and gross. First time eating here and I won’t be making that mistake again. If I’m spending money on food I want it to at least be edible.

My boyfriend and I came here and ordered 2 burritos, one of which was vegetarian so it comes with free guac. We paid in cash and my boyfriend thought we didn’t get the correct amount of change so asked for the receipt. When looking she charged us for 2 burrito bowls which are $0.50 more than a burrito and 2 sides of guac which we didn’t order. When he brought it up she gave us the exact amount back without us even telling her how much we should have been charged so I’m sure she knew exactly what she was doing. Be aware and ask for your receipt, they won’t give it to you otherwise. Also the tortillas were stale, we definitely won’t be coming back here.

I had never been to a Taco Del Mar before. Can't say I'm in a rush to go back. Food was mediocre - I'd rather pay a couple bucks more and get much better quality from Chipotle or something. What I will say is that the customer service here was really good. I watched the manager guide a newer employee to make sure ample toppings were put on and to ensure it looked presentable. Also very friendly staff during a rush of customers before a concert.

Amazing service, amazing workers that work their a$$es off, amazing food every time I have gone there : keep up the incredible work you guys.

I got the loaded nachos. The chips are stale. They microwave everything. It says Protein is included in price but the shredded beef was 1 dollar more? Then that means it's not included...

They clearly have new staff... Don't expect them to help you in any timely manner I was the only customer in line when I walked in. Don't expect them to make your food how you ask, they do not listen. If someone walks in after you, they'll likely be helped before you. If your Hispanic you'll get better service tho. The chicken is so wet and greasy the taco is a mess, super hard to eat. They used to drain it before putting on the tortilla. This location has gone down hill dramatically.

The food is good, but the portions are very large. That's a bad thing if you're trying to watch your weight. The setup is like Subway or Chipotle, but I like Chipotle better than Taco Del Mar, because Chipotle uses non-GMO ingredients. Since Taco Del Mar means "taco of the sea," you would think that they would have more fish options. When I asked for fish, they didn't even have it ready like the other meats. They had to pull some out from the back and cook it. One thing I like about Taco del Mar is that they offer more than one flavor of tortillas.

We have ordered at Taco Del Mar many many times, and never had an issue. It has been a couple months since last order. Idk what changed. We ordered 3 chips and guacamole and the guacamole was soaked in lemon or lime juice to the point it was runny and sour. All of our family's tacos/burritos were like half sour cream and guac. So much sour cream and guacamole you can't taste anything else. There was so much they were all extremely soggy too. We only live 10 blocks from them, so not much time from when we ordered/got them. It will be awhile before we try them again after this. For 3 people was around $60 and not worth it if no one eats any of the food.

My boyfriend & I used to come here anytime we'd go to a Silver Tips game, & have dinner, then we didn't come for the longest time, well we went the other day & it was just one lady working as usual she was very friendly & respectful, & she made our tacos with care it's becoming a lot more usual for costumer service workers to be kind of rude/hate their job, unfortunately, so it's nice that the employees here have always been so kind to us.
