Truly a hidden gem in north Everett! Absolutely love this place. The decor may be a little dated, but the wonderful family that took over this place recently is serving up some of the best Mexican and breakfast foods in the area! Consistently good, high quality dishes that look even better in person than they do on the menu! Spice levels are approachable for everyone, ingredients are incredibly fresh, including wonderful house-made salsas, and there are some great vegetarian options available. Portion sizes are generous and filling. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Highly recommend the chilaquiles, machaca plate, french toast with fruit, and any of the burritos. If you ever find yourself in the north Everett area, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try!
Best food I have ever had!! They give you a huge portions. Amazing customer service, super kind people family owned business!! Second time going this place is amazing the food never disappoints, so delicious!! The owners of the restaurant are so kind and welcoming. Definitely would recommend!!
Amazing food. Absolutely out of this world. The chips and salsa seem house made, and the food was both incredible and the portions were generous. Definitely a new favorite spot in North Everett. The benches outside are perfect for the sunny weather
Mamas Cafe is a fantastic breath of fresh air! The food is wonderful, and so are the people. Having dined three times so far within Mamas, I have felt so much positive, welcoming energy. As a transgender woman, their kindness always makes my day! The location is also an incredible plus, as it sits just next door to Everett Community College. For any fellow students hungry between classes, I highly recommend dining here! Please, give Mamas a try!
We were so impressed with the food here at this little restaurant close to home! I ordered take out once before and it was very delicious! Now after dining in, I’m determined to try everything on the menu and will be telling family& friends to check it out! Their sauces were so amazing. Thanks for the great food the menu board inside isn’t all the options they offer
I am not a Mexican food person but my husband wanted some so we ended up here. And I am glad we did. It was a little difficult figuring out how to get here because the roads are weird but there was parking in the back and extra entrance in the back which made it convenient. It was very comfortable in the dining room and felt very homey with what looked like a beautiful hand painted mural on the wall. They delivered chips and salsa to the table when we arrived. They looked house made too. He got a Chili Relleno and enchilada and I got 2 chicken enchiladas. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy his meal. The chicken in my enchiladas were grilled absolutely perfectly and I ended up eating a lot more than I expected. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area.
So. Freaking. Good. I've been searching for this wet burrito for years now. It's red or green you get to pick!! Not just enchilada sauce like everywhere uses! Guacamole was good too. I'm super impressed and will be coming back.
Came late for breakfast but they still let us order and it was great. Fruit French toast, chilaquiles and Machaca were all great. Small family operation, this is slow food, homemade, all sauces are amazingly delicious and from scratch. Everything cooked to perfection. Recommend Flautas, street tacos, nachos deluxe for lunch/dinner. Support good local restaurants!
I highly recommend this place. The food here was delicious! They make authentic mexican food! Tastes just like my grandmas cooking. Im so happy i chose to come here. You will not be disappointed.
First time here, but definitely not the last!!! I hate doing reviews for small places like this because then they get super busy and it's harder to get in. So they serve freshly squeeze their orange juice everyday.... yes and they have 3 different types juices they make for you.. yeah this is amazing. They have a great vegetarian menu as well. This is a Mexican restaurant, but they serve more than that for breakfast!!! I had the bacon, sausage omelet with swiss chard, mushrooms, tomatoes and cheese, my husband had the popeye's scramble with the fried potatoes yummy! All of it yummy! Definitely coming back. They do however, need to train the waitress the have to ask the right questions, and to be consistent. They serve breakfast ALL day!! Sorry for the photo but I could not resist!!
